Hi everyone! Want to learn some great Skywars strategies and have fun at the same time? You're in the right place! This discussion is going to function somewhat like a forum game, but it still involves lots of discussion, and is Skywars themed. Here is how this is going to work. First, someone will describe a situation in Skywars. This situation can involve literally anything that is possible in Skywars. Example:

"You are minding your own business chopping down a tree when someone enderpearls over to your island. What would you do?"

Now, that example was quite simple. You can make your situations specific, or more complex if you want them to be. Anyways, after that, the person that comments next would then answer with how they would handle that situation. Example:

"I would whip out my axe and rush the player, hoping to knock him or her off my island ASAP."

If you want to go even farther, (you don't have to, but it would be cool if you did) you can even share your reasoning with everyone. Example:

"The reason I would do this is because I would think that if I reacted quickly enough, I could surprise the player. After all, I was just cutting down a tree, and the other player might not have expected me to notice him or her."

There are no right or wrong answers. You can answer any way you like! Now, at this point, the person who answered how they would handle the situation would formulate a new situation for the next person who comments. I strongly believe that this little game will help us see other people's strategies, and allow us to learn from them. This being said, do not think that you always have to be serious. You can create humorous situations and humorous responses as well.

    Ok, I'll start.

"The game has just begun. You drop down and check your chests. You get 3/4 leather armor, a stone sword, an iron pickaxe, food, a bow, four arrows, and a sponge. What would you do?"

First, before anything else, put the armor on (duh). Then check your surroundings. Look around the map. If you see people starting a bridge, you have a very effective means of trolling them. Shoot a couple arrows their way. Next place the sponge. Don't position towards the middle, because that's too mainstream. No, what you want to do is place it so you can jump onto your neighbor's island. Say hello to 'em. Give 'em a polite greeting. And then after you've sat down for lunch, talked about life, and had some fun, take your sword while they're not looking and give 'em a slight tap towards a better (or just darker) place.

You're in a hole 1 block wide and 3 blocks deep. Someone places lava at the top. All you have is an diamond pick axe, 16 cobblestone and a very strong urge not to burn to a crisp. What do you do?

I would place cobblestone at the top to stop the lava. After that, I would dig my way down, and then sideways to freedom (hopefully).

You have leather armor, a stone sword, 16 snowballs, and a 64 stack of wood. Your island neighbor with iron armor and an iron sword has just decided to start bridging over to you. To make things worse, he isn't bridging at an angle, but straight towards your island. You know you don't have much time to lose. What would you do?

I would throw all my snowballs at the player and hope that I knock them off. If I still don't knock them off their bridge, I would confront them with my amazing PvP skills (hehe) and hope for the best.

You have the fastest time of ever completing a match (so far), you're so proud of yourself. You have extremely good gear, the last player is camping at their island. You have the choice of launching yourself over with your sponge and risk dying but you also have very little blocks that will slow down your record time. Your opponent also has 32 snowballs, what do you do?

    What map is it?

Some are more high risk than others.

You block up real quick or dig down 2 block then to the side and block up or the best one, place a block on the lava and make the flow stop.

Your only useful stuff are a diamond Pickaxe and 64 cobblestone.

I would launch. That's not a very high-risk map. If it were a map like Solar you would have to bridge. That map sucks for sponges.

Trust me when I say I have been in this EXACT SAME situation on Solar, gone with the sponge and plummeted into the void. I will post a video next time I'm on my computer.

Please post another situation after answering one in the future.

You are playing on the snow map with the house in the middle island. You can either enderpearl to the house, or sponge to it. What would you do?

    Right sry.

Ended pearl, cause again, high risk map.

You spawn on a block of dirt with no chests.
    You can:
    A) Jump
    B) Disconect
    C) Wait for someone to come and get you
    D) Find an alternative option

C just to troll. Maybe I could knock them off. :V

You have 1 level of experience and an enchanting table. You want to enchant either your diamond chestplate, or your iron sword. What would you do?

Iron sword, because that's going to determine the winner in a 1v1 close-combat encounter.

You check the chests on a map, and you have no tools or armor whatsoever. Wat2du

Chop down a tree and start from scratch just like vanilla minecraft. I would also thoroughly exploit my island's resources and potentially infiltrate another players island and do the same to theirs. :3

A player is trying to rain lava on your island from a 3 block wide bridge above you. What would you do?

I would tower up to match him/her, and punch them off the bridge.

There are 2 neighbouring islands both bridging towards you, you have 1 snowball..., 32 wood planks, a stoneword and steak. What u do.

I'd build out from my island, shooting the snowball at one of the players, knocking him off. Then building straight up. The other player comes to my pillar where I jump off and block up the path to my island behind them. Staling for time while I escape.

    Map solar
Full iron, diamond sword rushes you with chain boots and leather chest.

You have some steak, wooden sword, and a sponge.

I know I'm pretty much dead here. I would place the sponge and jump to another island. I would then wait for the scrub to follow me using the sponge and make my last stand. Hopefully he misses the island. :/

You are at Scwamp and there are two players left, you and another scrub. You are in the middle island, and have full iron, an iron sword, a sponge, and two 64 stacks of wood. You notice that your opponent has made a one-block thin bridge off his island leading to a... house?!? What would you do?!?!?
