    Here I am, with brand-new minecraft map submission for Mc-War!
    Lets get started on going over it:
    Name: Sewer
    Made by @Elkus and @Elkus alone! :grinning:
    Gamemodes: infect, ctf, and tdm
    Summary: Sewer is just that- a sewer. A decently-sized map with several winding pipes with some water here and there and dim lighting. A dark map, to be sure, but it is still possible to see. This map features only 2 relatively safe camping spots, so most people are going to be on the run during each match. This map is definitely for war pros, and not a sniper map! I would suggest war nubes sit this one out! :grinning:
    Best Guns: I would suggest SMG, Auto, and shotgun on this map!
    I spent a long time on this map, and hope you all like it!

    It's brighter in-game. The screenshots are darker.
    The main ones there are probably the darker parts of the map too.
    You can see it better if you click the thumbnail too.

    I downloaded this map and flew through it for a couple of minutes. Here's my honest opinion.
    • The walls and floor look extremely bland with such low block variety.
    • There's a lack of obstacles. Lots of obstacles are needed for a good map.
    • Sewer corridors are too symmetrical, and the terrain is too easy to cross in a short period of time.
    • The way you placed the water actually makes the map look less detailed. I'd suggest running the water down the majority of the map, but keep the water running through a lowered channel.
    • A better lighting system needs to be used. It's too dark with redstone torches as the only light source.

    Yes, the only way I can see this being accepted is if you make some kind of thing that goes along with a sewer theme, but not a sewer. -1.

    Not much detail and its really dark. You kind of used the same blocks all the time and I think its small.

    1-

    Im gonna take a closer look ingame at the map.

    Ok I took a look ingame and it is really small + it reminds of OilFactory's maze with the unbalanced teams.
    And the team spawns would lead extremly to a spawn trap if someone rushes in with Minigun, mostly at the red teams spawn.

    @Elkus is the server a one I could connect to with you? I could help you with it.

    Also, despite the negative ratings, I think this would be a fantastic idea. With just a little tweaking, it could be added to the list of maps.

    It's a singleplayer map, so unless you have a really powerful computer, I don't think it's possible to connect to mine. :frowning:
    Thanks for letting me know you like it. :grinning: I just wanted to make a sewer :smile:
    I would like to have us work on it together but I don't think it would be possible. :frowning:
    I'm not necesarily just giving up, but I've put forth some good time and it's been just rejected so I'd be better off leaving it to the people using speed mods and such. SPC and whatnot. :grinning:

    Just cause it's "not your type" doesn't mean you need to rate it down. Give some constructive feedback or be quite please.

    Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to make one more shot at a map for WarZ. It'll take some time, but I think I'll just keep it at complete, cause I don't want to work on it anymore.
