My computer is taking its last breath. This is my Vista story.

    Anyone who's talked with me on Ts knows that when i chat there's a very loud fan noise in the background all the time. Its my computer overheating.

    I have windows vista. Ridicule me if you will, but this 'ol girl has been good to me over the years, and though its hard to remember, there was a time when vista was (gasp) top notch.

    But my darling is failing me now. The fps lag has spread from the initial zone to the rest of the computer, and the doctor says there's nothing I can do.

    Each day I watch my sweet laptop slowly crumble, it overheats a little earlier than the day before, the fps lag is a little bit bigger, and no matter how much optifine we pump through the IV, my computer can only hold out so long.

    I think shes dying.

    Vista was top notch for like, a few months. :x

    Hope it can be fixed. Maybe try upgrading the RAM or clear out some hard drive space. Worked for me on my Mac when it lagged out. But RIP windows vista, you'll never be as good as windows XP or 7

    I think your computer is telling you to upgrade to Windows 8.

    I have a windows 7 they are not the best i will tell you that but indeed, its true others have worse, some have better..



    my fps is like 5-10....( with optifine) Everyone asks me why i don't do much i say "Cause i cant :v"

    Actually yes its the only reason she hasn't burst into flames yet. Sometimes the desk gets so hot I cant touch it for hours.

    The doctor says she has a month at the most, maybe even only a few days...I think this is the end.
