Book Turning into Garden Hoes

    I was playing on the PvP Survival server, I was giving a fellow comrade some books to enchant and once I tossed them the 12 books turned into a wooden hoe. Is this a bug/glitch or is this meant to happen and im just uninformed. If this has happened it would be great if you would add to this in the comments. Have a good day.

    This sounds like a server lag, you changed the books and a wooden hoe, the server didn't register it and changed the items later, so it looked like the books turned into a wooden hoe.

    No I was with a comrade I created 11 books tossed it to him and they all turned into hoes.

    Do you mean they turned into hoes when you threw them or when he gave you them back?

    When I tossed them on the floor they turned into Wooden Hoe.

    Then it's just server lag. Nothing you can do but remake them, sorry :v .
