    I have been playing minestrike more often now and i have discovered A LOT if not ALL players lag when smoke bombs are thrown... i think that the smoke bombs need to be made differently so every time one is throw the purpose is to blind not to troll or crash others...

    I don't lag when a smoke bomb is thrown and I think they are quite useful. It is really hard to aim through all the particles. I have no idea how to make the bomb less laggy without removing it purpose.

    Maybe they can have different things instead of particles because we all ain't have godly 180 frames my comp can't take millions of grey wool particles breaking At once and I'm pretty sure a lot of others can't either

    Different things such as what? There isn't anything that behaves quite like a particle.

    My computer is average, only around 40 when I play and my fps usually drops lower than that; however, my fps doesn't really drop when I stand near one of those smoke bombs.

    Well a lot of players (like me) don't even get 40 frames my frames can only reach 20 and when I'm near smoke bombs I get 2/3 if you throw a couple of smokes there guaranteed someone will complain about lag

    They're nicknamed lag bombs for a reason
    I think smoke bombs are a very important part of the game. If you want the block particles to be removed, you'll need an alternative.

    Well I'm pretty sure the brawl coders didn't mean to bring everyone down to low frames making everyone rage because a scrub thought it'd be fun to launch one off spawn smoke bombs are used to get in the opponents vision not ruin there comp

    Maybe it should just give you blindness, like an emp in mcwar.

    I think if you get optifine theres an option to turn off particles? I dont know

    Acutally try to edit your texturepack and remove the particles in the first place

    There is no way to take the particles off on optifine :/ ive even tried turning all my particles off,and im not a fancy smancy texture pack ma bobber whatever you call em i had a hard time trying to even get faithful on my comp

    Maybe smokes can have get a texture or something to go with the texture pack for minestrike? we can just make it where there are blocks that are hard to see through but you can move through / shoot through ... i dont know its just a idea that might help :/

    Well I want them to remove the smoke bomb 'wool' particle and change it to a TnT or creeper explosion particle like in mine strike(MinePlex),If you do that It don't lag much and you can't really see thru the smoke.If this is added I will enjoy playing minestike again :grinning:

    Yea that's what I was thinking because for some reason breaking wool particles ruin my comp
