Creative Contest - Christmas

    Creative Contest Suggestion

    Recently, @creeperbob18 and I have been thinking about a Christmas Contest. A lot of people celebrate Christmas today so this will be a big contest. Since McBrawl seems to be in a Contest "mood," we thought that there was nothing like bringing the Christmas spirit into McBrawl. First, I will suggest a couple things we think this contest needs:

    We have already started to plan out our ideas together and have already decided that we need more room.
    So we were thinking if we could make the plot a little bigger, something like 140x140.
    Not only does it help us but it also helps others. The bigger, the better! :wink:
    We know we could just build it in world3 or world2 but my plots in those worlds are all filled up with things I need to keep. It doesn't have to be as big as I said it should, but at least a little bit bigger.


    Another suggestion we thought of was, to have more winners. Maybe about 5 like the Roller Coaster Contest.
    Now, lets talk prizes. Below is an idea @creeperbob18 and I have thought of:
    1st place - $40 in the McBrawl Store, Rank Promotion, and a nickname on Creative
    2nd place - $35 in the McBrawl Store and a Rank Promotion
    3rd place - $30 in the McBrawl Store and a Rank Promotion
    4th place - $25 in the McBrawl Store and a nickname on Creative
    5th place - $20 in the McBrawl Store and a nickname on Creative


    If you are a WEPro you and got 2nd or 3rd place, instead of getting a rank promotion you'd get a nickname.

    If we start now we can make a WarZ Christmas map out of it. Let's do it :v creative is worthy. At the same time we can use it every year and it would only be for the holiday.

    Eh, there've been so many Creative contests that I'd like to see one for another server instead. Soccerstars had a pretty good suggestion.

    McBrawl Creative has been getting into a contest rhythm. I see a lot of people liking them, too.
    Admins are keep getting better and if they get out of rhythm and Creative will lose interest. Also, I was thinking it would be good because the past 2 months they have had a contest. Why not this month? Everyday, I don't see a lot of people on Creative. If we keep contests up, it will keep going good.

    its an alright idea, but what exactly ARE we building? If you haven't decided yet, I understand! but what i've found is people with world edit get a HUGE advantage with these creative contests, so maybe make one thats more... Legit building?

    Just anything on the Christmas topic. Doesn't matter as long as it is along the lines of Christmas.

    Again my WarZ idea is one thing, Christmas like buildings etc. But in the end the managers get to decide what we do.

    This is acutally a great idea because the zone 6 snow is TINY, and the other zone 6's are bigger than it. Since everyone liked the old map and old map was mainly snow and nether, with this time a baby indust in between adding some buildings to snow town would be great.

    If they are only for Creative, it will get stale. It already is getting stale, there is no need for yet another creative contest. At this point it's stale and kind of boring for many.

    I think nicknames are better than rank-ups because they can be obtained only winning a contest; rank-ups can be obtained applying for them...

    I know that creative contests could get stale, but I was thinking that we could have separate contests. For example, we could have a Christmas themed creative contest, and maybe another one on another server.

    There are Creative Contests and there are Events on other McBrawl servers. They do not really have an effect on eachother.
