Before Reading! I am not the most reliable source, but
I understand the game well.

Beginning tips:
I often see people using 1 or 2 guns, try to use 3-5. Vary them out, snipers, automatic, etc.
Before the game begins, try to always have a plan - "Am I gonna Camp or Rush?"
Try to team up! If you do, keep you conversation in a PM, Skype, or TS3.
If you have a gun, but no ammo for it, don't put it in your hot bar.
If you are getting chased, and you start to regenerate, I would suggest using a pistol, you don't have scope.
Kits are very useful. Know your playing style to know which kit to use.
If you spawn near someone else, and have a good kit, chase him. If you don't have a good kit, run away.
