Potential to kill human race? No, But can kill over 25% of all humans.
Safe Places: Landlocked locations, mountains
Volcano
Can cause: Pyroclastic flows, mud slides, lava flows, tsunamis, earthquakes, drastic world wide temperature drop
Potential to kill human race? Depending on which volcano, yes.
Safe Places: None
Earthquakes
Causes:Both Large scale and small scale destruction
Potential to kill human race? no
Safe Places: places where there are no known fault lines or tectonic plate bounderies
Tornado
Causes: Large scale destruction
Potential to kill human race? No
Safe Places: Near mountains, places of high elevation and not near warm areas, basements
Hurricane/Typhoon
Causes: strong winds, heavy rain, flooding, power outages, large scale destruction
Potential to kill human race? No
Safe Places: Land locked areas far from equator, areas far from equator

Interstellar (comets, asteroids, black Holes, etc.)
Causes: Huge destruction (comets, asteroids), world wide extinction (comets, asteroids, black hole), area destruction, complete planet destruction (when a black hole swollows the planet)

Nuclear warfare-all out nuclear war, all cities destroyed, complete anarchy, uninhabitable for milennia due to radiation; it is possible to destroy the entire planet------Banned by Treaty and UN
Potential to kill human race? Yes

World-wide EMP (ElectroMagnetic Pulse)-caused to detonating a nuke in the stratosphere or by a direct hit from a solar flare, world wide power outage up to 10 years. no factories that work, no cars, trucks, busses, trains, ships, airplanes. No phones, cell phones; all powerplants out and no working batteries. food and water shortages because it would not be possible to make manufactured products.
Potential to kill human race? No

Chemical warfare-Highly toxic and lethal chemicals such as hydrochloric acid are released in heavily populated and popular areas like neighborhoods and city parks----------Banned by treaty and UN
Potential to kill human race? Yes, depends on chemicals

Biological warfare-Release of often lethal,incurable (no vaccine), and highly contagious bacteria and viruses (ie ebola, bubonic plauge, etc.) in heavily populated areas-----------------Banned by Treaty and UN
Potential to kill human race? yes, depends on disease

The very reason I chose volcano, idk bout you guys but I ain't cool with the global temperature dropping by 20 degrease Celsius
