Remove "Purchase an Unban"

Why not just not be able to buy one after your 3rd offense?

Explain how even with a limit to the amount of purchaseable unbans, how it creates more chaos. Give me a good reason. What you state above isn't a good reason.

 

1. Not all banned players are like that, only the idiots who think they can get away with it. Once they're banned for the final time, the community won't be seeing that player any longer. It's not like they can come back and start arguments as many times as they want. Eventually, they'll be forced to stop causing trouble by the current ban system.
2. Hackusations should be taken as a compliment. They're only a minor offense in chat, nothing to overly stress about.

 

I completely agree with this! I thought about this very same thing once. This is basically the high server staff being greedy. If someone shot somebody you were close to (In real life) and then they never even went to jail because they posted bail, you would be mad right? This is like having a 50$ Bail for any crime!(After I think of more reasons I will rant some more)

 

Well this ain't real life, isn't it?

 

Solution: Make unbans more expensive! That should discourage repeat offenders. $10 and $20 is too cheap. If they were $40-50 for the 1st and $60-70 on the second, they'll stop and think before shelling out the cash. And, more $$$ means more funding towards the servers!

 

As griffy said, McBrawl still needs money! So why not increase the price.

Is this for unbans being deleted or against unbans being deleted?

 

I have no idea. I took this magical sniff of white stuff and well that happened..

 

Instead of paying 50 USD for a single account they are going to buy new accounts.

Which would you rather prefer:
1. Make them buy an unban and support the server in the process
or
2. Make them buy another Minecraft account

Number one has a lot of benefits to it. Not only does it put them on the radar for future offenses but it also keeps the servers running. If theyre willing to buy an unban id more than guarantee theyd be willing to buy another minecraft account to come back

@chickenputty explained the reason for the unbans somewhere:

If players with enough money get banned on a server, they will simply buy a new account for 20$, go on the server and start playing again. So instead of making Mojang get 20$ everytime somebody gets banned, you can purchase a unban and McBrawl receives 10$ which helps to keep the server alive.

I know that everybody will tell me now that we should simply ban the alt accounts because of the new alt policy, but unless you are stupid you can easily hide who you really are. We only make IP checks if we have a suspicion, as long as we don't have one a alt can do whatever he want. That is not good, but the reality.
