Something needs to be done about this..

It is very hard to tell what is hacks and what is not; that is why the 'hacker banning' is left up to SMOD+.

 

How about we just train a bunch of SMODs instead of giving mods permission to ban on the spot.

In which case we should train more SMODs.

 

I agree, more SMODs should be trained. I vote @Lord_Roke #LordRokeForSmod

 

Like my question was answered (I voted for the same thing ), it isn't our picking for Lord_Roke to become a S-Mod, the Admins/Owner(s) only have that opportunity.

For this matter I cannot disagree in any way. So many people complain yet this is one of those problems which can't be solved so easy.

 

Lots of people have said that "WarZ is full of hackers" and over-exaggerated about it. However, you're the first person I've seen to offer some good ideas about how to handle this. I like that you are thinking about how to fix it instead of just complaining. And I think that @randomcitizen1 has the total wrap-up on this:

Currently, correct if me if I'm wrong, @Giggadream is the only Super Mod. However, he does a heck of a good job of it tho. But I totally agree, more SMODs! Yeaaah!
And yeah I think we should promote some people like @Lord_Roke, possibly @jaydenchadd...

I think a good idea would be to give mods the power to ban if they have legit evidence (recordings). That way, it gets the hackers off the server ASAP so that they don't hack against anyone else, and then the evidence would be reported later. Of course, the final decision would be given to SMods based upon the evidence. But if mods can ban on the spot for suspected hacking, less people will be affected by the hacker. The worst case scenario is that they weren't hacking, are banned for two days, get unbanned and an apology from the mod. I don't see why that's a problem.

 

Well,Ive been playing WarZ for maybe 5 weeks and ive only seen 1 possible hacker.It was me and @GhastSlayner on new map nether then a MVP logged on called ScareFaceTony and he 1 shotted me and @GhastSlayner with spas from about 15-20 blocks when I was 2/4 d and GhastSlayner 1/4 d.macro/fastplace and possibly blink. :v Well,its great that you dont just complain about it and try to give options @porker5.

 

Yeah, hackers ruin the community, players can even play the gae anymroe without getting hacked out by a hacker :/

 

I still love WarZ, but it's true, hackers are popping up everywhere. I wasted 3 1/2 stacks pistol ammo, 2 stacks auto ammo, 2 1/4 stacks shotgun ammo, and 27 sniper ammo on 1 full iron guy... This match took about 10-20 minutes to finish up in which he killed me. I wished I had already set up WME to start recording... but it takes a little while to set up. Some days I don't know if I should be saying Good Game anymore, cause they might've been a hacker and they deserved it, or they were a hacker and the only reason they won was because they were a hacker.

 

Yah everyone knows ScareFace hacks xD still haven't gotten solid proof on him yet tho :/

True, people rarely hack in zone 6. All the hackers are at gas station and snow

 

I could make a montage of all the hackers that were on server one when the purge happened

 

I think that most of the hackers are at zone 6. It has more competition I don't understand why a hacker would camp and kill at a lower zone. Not much will happen since all of the Youtubers and Good people are at zone 6 according to their view.

 

@XxIronRavenxX would be a great Smod, he has been a mod for a while now
