Censoring the word "Rape"

Its not a joking word and should not be used on this server, just think about what you say before you say it cause for all you know someone might have been raped before. Its a horrible thing and would make that person feel terrible.

I've played on a server long time ago and she well you know. It was a tough moment, then some immature kid got on saying it. Defending her I told him to stop and said it wasn't a joke. It ending out that I banned him cause he kept on doing it... It was sad for her I know she felt terrible.

I don't want anyone else to feel like that so I agree with this.

 

Yes, I think it should censored. It isn't the absolute worst word, but it can be very offensive and rude. I like the idea, it should've been censored years ago.

No matter what you do to try to make the community a better place, putting more restrictions in place just makes people find more way around them. Do what you like if it makes you feel better, but it won't change anything.

Since your beef is that it's used "out of context," just consider that there is a different meaning now, like bear and bear ("right to bear arms" and "attacked by a bear").

I like to solve problems with the simplest possible solution. If the problem is that you are offended by supposed misuse of the word "rape" then it would be much simpler for you to look at it a different way then try to change the nature of the community and the game to stop this behavior.

This yes needs to be censored. Gives people another word to try and bypass the filter but that gets more rule breakers off the streets with reports. How could you say no to this? (+1)

well there are several ways to take this post, because you have made it beautifully ambiguous

in the case of sarcasm:
im saying it wont change much, people will still swear and bypass
im not someone who swears a lot, but i would rather have the filter removed because i have a thick enough skin not to take offense from everything

I dont think this is really that big of a problem considering the amount of trash talk going around the servers is humongous and people seem to operate just fine.
If this is actually a problem then I guess, "noob", and "scrub" are getting censored next because theyre offensive to a small amount of people.

 

I'm neutral on this one. It's not the biggest deal in my opinion, and I have never seen it used before in mcbrawl. (I live in fpsHG town where things are nicer than in War or WarZ city.) I mean, if it's actually an issue, then why not? It's not as though it would do more bad than good if it was censored. However, if it's not that big of a deal, then let it be I suppose.

Yeah let's censor the word because it's a COD based server. While we're at it, let's make this COD based server with guns in it more suitable for the mentally retarded kids who play it 7 hours a day by censoring the little bad words so they won't say anything to make other people cry.

It's a server with ****ing guns in it. It's like taking the blood out of TF2 as an attempt to prevent violence. There still is going to be violence from the game anyways.
