    Basically it is a simple idea to make sure new players are aware of all our rules here at McBrawl. Players wouldn't need to join our forums to know what the rules are.

    Yes, most of our servers have /rules for players to use. But, those rules are outdated. Take McWar for example, when you use the rules command only three come up: 1. No Glitching 2. No hacking/cheating and 3. No arguing with staff.
    These are really outdated. My idea is to have a message in bold, colored letters when the player(s) first log onto any of our servers. This would contain info about rules, website, and a warm welcome.

    Something along this line:
    •Welcome to McBrawl.com, please make sure to use /rules and feel free to join our website: www.brawl.com•

    Also, this won't just work for the just the hub but for all our servers. We all know some players join War, WarZ, Party, etc before logging into the hub. So, this message will also pop up in the chat for players when they first log into any of our servers, not just the hub. This simple idea will most likely solve a lot of confusion for new players.

    Please correct me on things I've missed and feel free to suggest additions. :wink:

    This would be a good addition, it will make sure that people can fully understand all the rules without having to log into the forums.

    But there is one thing, if they don't have to go on the forums, what would happen is that sometimes when they are members, they get interested into the forums, and they start posting, like me when I first joined, I wanted to look at the rules or something, then when I looked at it, I got interested in Minecraft-Multiplayer, and I wanted to be a bigger part of the community other than just be a player.

    I fully agree with this, I can imagine joining the Hub and having no idea where to start.

    Links to the forums, buycraft, teamspeak and basic rules should be implemented.

    This would be great feature! I've lost count of how many times I've told someone to stop insulting someone, and they say: there is no rule about not insulting people.
