War Staff - What we do

I used to play War constantly...

Now I don't play as much, I play WarZ more...

The only time I ever saw mods online were when I was on TS3 with @phantamanta44 or @Lord_Roke

Also: @CaptainBrawler is always on the higher numbered servers, so I would see him quite a bit.

Those were the only mods I ever saw online unless I was on server 1.

The only time I see mods in WarZ is I occasionally see luckypop on server 1 spawncamping with tweety.*

I think the staff could do a much better job and that it could be handled better.

But saying that the staff do nothing is like saying that melt's KDR is bad. They do a fantastic job. They do the best they can usually, but sadly, that is very little...

Maybe there could be some Mods within the Mountain Time zone. I'm in Denver and play with East and West coasters.

Just an idea.

 

Mountain time zone is a US one, right?

Timezone differences of 2 hours or less don't really matter, the mods are not chosen based on their timezone. If there are already Moderators from West and East coast I don't really see why we would especially need to add some from Mountain Time Zone.

This reminds me of cookiecookie101...half hacker half not. On a particular server, I got banned by him for calling him a girl and everyone was deopped-including my friends. Later the server owner unbanned me that night.

But now, since we have security...hackers=

 

You forgot: Kicking players or banning players for things they didnt do. For nukeglitching when they died before the nuke gets launched.

 

And where is your proof that I glitched?

 

Better have proof that you didn't glitch for real then. Would recommend recording or simply taking a screenshot.
If there is a messup, the player who was incorrectly banned will likely be unbanned. And remember that everyone makes mistakes, even once in a while.
There is no need to get all pissed over it, I do believe the staff do their job very well.

 

heres what i think should happen

. remove staff only ts channels except for 1 which admins can only go in to interview players

. demote staff for not being active on their field or only going onto 1 specific server on their field

 

Glitch...ummmm...its impossible to nuke glitch. Unless...if the system is corrupt. Well...I have heard of glass, dirt glitches.

 

There is a difference between hacking and glitching. It is impossible to hack a nuke, but there is a glitch called nuke glitch.

 

Well...what block can you glitch to make a nuke besides glass...dirt...grass...ect?

 

You can break sand, and gravel with a pistol. Any brick with a moddel or flamethrower as they are a diamond and gold pick. Leaves you can break with a sword. glowstone you can break with anything.

 

I think the war mods is doing a great job!

You're more than right on that one. Moderating the servers takes quite a bit of time; being in-game is just a portion of the battle. You need to be on TeamSpeak, forums, and chatting to the other staff members as often as possible.


Through I must say I had a different style towards moderating. I was the more chatty type, I answered questions and suspicions. I realize now I should have left that to the elder players, but times have past.
