Fix a couple hacks that are used on multiple servers

    I would like the coders to look into a way to find out how to prevent kill aura and aim bot.

    Can't be prevented. Plugins can't check what clients players are using.

    This. We are already running NoCheat+ which prevents some hacks, but the most hacks are client side, means the server can't "see" them. Please read this thread on the Hypixel forums for further information, it is very detailed.
    Our own coders are quite busy with coding new servers and addons to existing ones, plus they always have to fix some bugs.

    False. There used to be a way to detect if someone was using killaura/aimbot by checking how fast the player is turning around. Sadly most hack clients updated a few weeks later. NoCheatPlus is the only thing admins can do against fight hacks such as forcefield or aimbot.

    Meeh okay my bad.
    The only way I can think of how to detect aimboter etc. is by spawning an invisible player every 20 min behind every player. The server detects if he hits the player multiple times, if he does he's probably hacking. But this won't work...

    Although they are difficult to prevent using a plugin to counter them, Kill Aura & AimBot are two hacks that are commonly easy to identify, this means that our SMODs+ will be able to ban the players on the spot if they see them doing it.

    No, wait, ShotBow has a plugin where is puts NPC's behind the player when he/she spawns (Gender equality) and checks to see if that player hits that npc. It hit, the player then gets banned.

    In the past we have tested similar systems to this. You may of heard of the cycle plugin that we used at one point (If you haven't I probably shouldn't of said that :bag:) and we have also tried spawning Zombies behind players to check if they attack the zombie.

    Most players use ranged weapons, and as such Kill Aura is obsolete. And Aim Bot can aim at a player, but before the bullet has reached the player it has moved, making this hack obsolete as well.

    News Flash:
    After some, ahem, "research" for a plugin I was working on, I've discovered a few rather disconcerting things about Huzuni killaura:
    A: It no longer snaps you around 180°, making previous anti-ff plugins obsolete.
    B: It has a variable time between hits, so attacks seem natural to the server.
    From these facts, I can think of absolutely no way to counter KillAura effectively.
