L120_Isolator Nerfing?!?! :O

If the iso gets nerfed thats fine with me, but it needs to be better than the snipers preceding it in some way.

I think a fair nerf would be to keep it OHK, have the same reload/clip size, but have lower accuracy, so it's not a dead on shot.
Same thing happened in BL:R, the 200DMG BAR builds got nerfed in accuracy, but they would still OHK.

Maybe change the accuracy to somewhere around 0.03

Whoever told you that is making things up. We have not decided or even taken into consideration a buff/nerf so far on the L120_Isolator (L115_Isolator) that I have heard of.

 

I think Dwarf or another mod (brian maybe?) was saying it would get nerfed.
Never heard anything official from a G/SMod or Admin.

 

I keep hearing people say it should get nerfed but I don't think it will for the damage. However, while I was testing the new update I think they did change the accuracy slightly on the isolator so it may have a 0.002 or 0.003 accuracy now.

 

I think 0.002 is pretty much still dead-on accuracy.
Changing the hundredths place would make a change, but not the thousandths place.

 

All I know is that the isolator feels different in the update in terms of accuracy. I was trying to quickscope and it doesn't feel/hit the say way : /

Personally, I think the only nerf required would be on the firerate. Delay it a second longer and then its fair.

 

This was when Putty first released the test IP. (me/putty/orange)

I would rather the nerf be on accuracy.
Longer fire rate would still mean that it's a 100% chance of kill if you get sights on.

 

Its a bolt action sniper meaning longer intervals between shots. The isolators interval is equal to a pistol...

 

We should have to left click, sneak, and then right click to draw the bolt out and chamber another round.

Theres nothing cool about the starter sniper. The only was I could see the Isolator being nerfed, is with firerate.

Iso shouldn't be nerfed. Its the best sniper in the game, and the noobs will become stronger. don't nerf
