'Way2hot4Fridays' Event Ideas [Help!]

Brackets! (I'm pretty sure you know what those are)

 

3v3 comp

 

I'd suggest:
A) PvPing on pigs.
B) Making the prettiest dirt house.
C) Tournament related to livestock.
D) Pig racing (custom-made small track)
E) Conquering Nether fortresses or the End.

These are my ideas this far. I can give more details surrounding them, if needed.

 

Wager 1v1's/2v2's or full team fights.

 

Get 2 big teams and put them on a separate world, give everyone pots and soup and armor. Last team/man alive wins, an all out ffa of the two teams.

 

Idea #1
Use world edit to create a huge cube made of stone.
Hide some chest and other stuff in there.
Enable PvP.

Idea #2
Use world edit once again to create a skyscraper (or Barad-dûr).
Hide some chests.
add lava + void.
Players have to find a way down without dying.
Enable / Disable PvP

Hide & seek with Staff
Staff hides on a map and players have to find & kill them.

Building contest
Players have X seconds/min to build something (for example Way2 says: "Build a bridge". Best build wins).

I like the brackets idea. That would be fun and maybe the winner could win a prize.

 

Eating contest :V.

 

Price is right game:
You say an item whoever says the closest to the price (of gold in the shop) (without going over) wins that item. Shop would be disabled during that game.

 

Fight Club

 

Free kill contests
You get good stuff in your inventory then run out of spawn. People try to kill you to get the stuff but you don't fight back. In the end everyone battles each other so they can kill you

 

Make a big map filled with traps then people will have to eliminate each other to be the winner.
This is a complete FFA. No teams.

Maybe the prize could be a lifetime rank....

Do a small event with 2 identical bases and the goal is to kill the " king " of the enemy team ( like the WarZ event ).
The equipment would be full iron with diamond sword and bows with infinity ( recommend you do a kit to avoid wasting time ).
Each player will have 3 lives.

 

I like to hope. Traps can be easily made with effort.

 

Whynot use those cobble blocks between the berock and spawn for some kind of relay race? Like make four aisles for 4 teams of 4, and make some batons like a redstone, diamond, emerald, and gold ingot and the people race. Or, if thats too comfusing, just do some pig races around that area, but make it so you are DQ if you cheat and go to another lane.

 

What time frame are you looking for when it comes to the live streams?
1# Race: I think a straight forward race course could be a neat idea. There could be obstacles and PvPing along the way to complicate things. In the race, players could face traps, parkour, a boat race across a lake, scaling walls, jumping lava pits, water filled dungeons, mobs, and more.
2# Brute: Another cool idea that I've come up with a few players is a game called "Brute". In Brute, there's a huge indoor structure built so no one can escape. The structure is suppose to consist of many walls that the Brute (killer) can pop out from behind. Like a horror movie, the Brute serves as a demonic figure that can't be killed. Slowly, he picks off each player until there's only a small majority left. The Brute would most likely be a fair admin who would target anyone on sight.
3# Grief Paradise: In Grief Paradise, a HUGE building would be created before the event. The building would be created constructed with useful materials, ranging from blocks such as tree trunks, diamonds, stone brick, and beacons. Of course, the building would take a while to construct if it's made to look incredible. But the better it appears, the better the outcome of the event. With a giant wave of PvPers charging into a huge building and causing mass destruction, it's sure to make a good watch. But again, this crosses the guidelines of massive.
4# King of the Hill: A classic school ground game that can be played on minecraft as well. Players would be able to set warps at the bottom of the hill only. Teams and waves of players would have to maintain the top of the hill for as long as possible. Just like school ground logic, the person who maintain the peak of the hill for the longest amount of time win. It'd be up to the admins to decide on who they think maintained the hill for the longest. Note: People would have to be notified that a team as a whole doesn't count as a person. So if they have player A maintain the hill for 5 minutes and player B maintain it for 6 minutes, it doesn't count as 11 minutes. All in all, there would be a lot of battle action going on in a small area, which is ideal for a PvP Survival livestream.
