What the community has been coming to lately

We are definitely taking more mods in the future but right now we're taking a break from promoting members because of the massive increase just recently. A new system is being worked on for muting and such.

 

Seems good. But I'm assuming only S-Mods can do most of this? What do moderators do considering they can't ban or mute for more than an hour? Or can they now?

 

Currently we're still uncertain on how everything will function.

Trial mods should get the current mod perms while global mods can ban for three days.

 

I bet if we did a server-wide poll it would be more between 11-14. Our servers consist of many young players. They're still kids playing a game, it's hard to teach 1000+ of them maturity :v

We're currently working on a new system that should keep chat
violations to a minimum.

 

It isn't really bullying. These are kids who cry because they died on a 20 killstreak or lost full diamond. They're just writing hate messages because they want to ensure that they are superior on this game, because they likely can't find a place to be good at something elsewhere. The "Go kill yourself" convinces themselves that everyone else on here sucks and you are the only worthy player. This way, they can feel like they are finally good at something and satisfy themselves.

The best way to get back at them is to be a complete and utter troll to them. I stopped taking this stuff seriously a LONG time ago and I've found much more enjoyment in the forums alone. Heck, it's so fun I don't even play ingame anymore but I'm satisfied with McBrawl.

tl;dr: The "Bullies" aren't really bullies. They are 10 year olds who suck at life and insult you to convince themselves that they are good at something. Just be a troll to them and you will realize how immature they are.

On topic:
Wherever you go, there are going to be bullies. Wiether it be in school, somewhere else, or on the computer, there are always going to be people who try to put you down. But you don't have to let them. Just because they say something doesn't make it true. I mean, isn't it what you think about yourself that counts? The next time someone says something hurtful about you, just remember that you are an amazing person and they're only saying something because they're jealous of you. You don't have to let them get to your head.
