Vote for server reboot

    On certain occasions, the mc-war servers become pain achingly laggy. Members try to contact the admins, but no one is patient enough for them to receive the information. But i came up with a solution.

    Even though each server resets on a 16 hour basis, it's sometimes too slow to react and fix the problem quickly. Reseting the server constantly can be irritating to others, unless, we agree to a server reboot.

    Why don't we have a vote in a server to reboot the server? It makes more sense and it is much more effeficient, less time consuming, and better yet, less work for the admins. If you like this, like it for me. I suggest a server vote request from everyone every 1 hour. If at least 60% vote yes then reboot the server and get the problem done and fast you know what I mean?

    So a in game chat would say "Vote to restart server".
    Then if it got enough votes it would restart.
    Sound good but should include the normal 16 auto restart.

    Exactly! Like it? I've been thinking so hard for this server. I wish I got more likes though like you or the others, but I guess it is harder than I thought.

    I like it.
    It should be little less than majority rules (Total player on) because some people would not care.

    1 word: spambots. Tons of automated accounts could just loop through the war servers resetting them.

    [My idea] If enough players vote for yes, a moderator can restart the server.

    A gang of trolls would just vote for a server reset and make all the MultiplayerServers servers reset.

    Still requires staff intervention, which defeats the entire point.

    I have seen only two staff members for 10 min on 4.mc-war.com online since I started to play on server 4 a month ago...
    I think the "normal user voting" is better....

    The Voting is only possible every 1 hour for about 5 min!

    Still. How'd you like all of my war going down every hour?

    The point is that this gives too much power to the players.

    I'm going to sound silly saying this because I'm technologically dumb, but I'm pretty sure servers E.g 1-5 run on there own box/proxy whatever seperate from say, 6-10. But because they run on the same box thingy, if people voted for restart on server 5, server 1 would go down as well. I think. Taking this from when Team Lixo griefed, they had a command block spamming through console, was only on servers 1-5. others were not effected.
