Bug C4 suiciding in FFA

    When I place C4 down and detonated it I noticed I got damaged at first I assumed someone shot me but I realised it was the C4 the video, shows the bug thoroughly.

    In FFA you can even hurt yourself with bullets. Try the LAW :wink:

    In gungame, FFA and onein you can damage yourself with any weapon (mainly splash damage weapons though).
    I'm not sure if this is a bug, it makes the game more realistic, maybe it is intentional.

    I would think this is a bug, but maybe in testing they left it in because they realized it would be more realistic. I think this is fine, because I only personally only use explosive items or weapons in these gamemodes occasionally, as c4 can be used to get enemies from behind walls in onein, ffa is too fast paced for this

    This has been reported a few times before, it wasn't deemed a glitch but I don't think it was intentional either. Anyway, there is no personal gain because it counts for a death as well as the kill and it would be hard to win a game of FFA by killing yourself.

    I feel all gamemodes should be that way. If anything C4 and other explosive weapons not being able to damage you is the bug. That's how it is in any CoD game ever :v

    I understand what you mean, but if we implent that, people will start killing any team mates they don't like. For example, you don't call someone a Raygun noob anymore, instead you kill him with C4.

    You still wouldn't be able to harm your teammates. Only yourself like in CoD.

    You cant kill teammates in CoD and that wasn't really what Sig was suggesting. He was saying that players could be damaged by their own weapons.

    Woops, missunderstood him, sorry.

    However, if we make it possible for players to kill themself, we would have another problem again: Raising your own kills through killing yourself for example in FFA.

    Killing yourself (with explosivs) resets your killstreak.

    Yes, but you could get 20 kills in FFA very fast. The word "killstreak" was missplaced, I will change that.

    I think your kills don't count at all. Deaths however count.

    Easily fixable. We could make it so that killing yourself would result in a death, not a kill.

    I think it only does give me a death not a kill so, Choci already stated a point in that photo.
