    I was reading another thread about having chests randomly threw-out the WarZ map and I got to thinking, why don't we have it on survival? I mean have it once a day spawn in a random chest somewhere around the world with just a couple little "goodies" as you might say.

    We kinda already do...Dungeons, Water Temples, Mineshafts, also, we can raid. That's not included in WarZ.

    Most "new" players aren't new, they're old who just don't spend time looting up but instead socializing. And if you expect to join an event with a stone sword and iron Armour you shouldn't expect to win.

    Don't be an ass about it, and yes most new players on survival now are new to minecraft. As for the event topic most people do get left behind especially when there are teams like BA55 and SuB, from before the restart, always in prot 4 and sharp 5's and always teaming up against everyone else. I don't usually partake in events but I'm thinking about everyone else

    By the way I just now realized I spelt "could" wrong, sorry about that

    This is supposed to be a vanilla survival pvp server. This would just be too op for someone to come across a chest and find a set of diamond. Also, if they ever spawn under ground, xrayers can search them out. We also have dungeons which are little surprises for us.

    Maybe mods and admins can sort something out like that for an event. It would be pretty cool.

    Silver why do you always act so smug? I'm just trying to look out for everyone who didn't get the jump on the reset. I mean there are some people who couldn't be there when it happened but all you care about is trying to be the best. Btw I'm not trying to flame, as you said "we all have our opinions" and so I was speaking mine; don't get mad at me for speaking the truth.

    Panda I get where you're going with it but I never expected to but diamond stuff in it, maybe at best iron but no armor. I'd appreciate it if you could help me plan it out more, you seem like you have some good ideas piled up.

    The server already has a bunch of things that are not vanilla. (Warps, Team Warps, Shop, etc.)
    I think this can be added at a minimized level. The prizes should be not that great and the location of the chest should be at a certain area to not reveal a person's base.

    Actually that's a good point beasty and that's a good idea but instead of being just one place there should be five and it goes to a different one every week or day which ever is preferred

    The point is to keep the game at least close-to-survival-ish, where you have to forage for your materials and fend for yourself. Loot chests are a WarZ thing, and I think they should stay a WarZ thing.
