That was on Tac42's "Outro" thing So why would I get banned for hacking on another server? Oh for hacking on a mod's face. I feel like that if someone gets banned for hacking on another server he should be unbanned! Putty and Brittan's argument were weak! All they had were "You were hacking on a another server." They shouldn't even be remotely banned on Brawl. Anyone agree with me?

    I am EBKN :3

You'll never truly live on Minecraft without hacking. It's just a part of it, everyone should do it. I did it all the time. I was great at it. I know all the hack types, more so then what most people know as they've been patched by no cheat (like insta heal <333). It's just fun. So I say if someone is hacking on a server, ban them there. Otherwise, let them be.

In this situation, how are we as staff members any different than a normal player? To my knowledge, we have never done anything like this in the past, except maybe for known dangerous hackers and ddosers. As EBKN said, Tac's ban was denied when he publicly posted a picture of himself hacking on a different server not only in front of the entire staff, but the entire community. These two instances don't add up, and I think that it is unethical to ban someone for this without a fair warning. If we want to make a change in our rules, it should be publicly announced like what we did with our ride-along policy. Currently, we have nothing in our rules giving us the right to ban players for hacking on other servers in front of staff members. And also, if we are going to ban players that hack on other servers, then it shouldn't matter if it was in front of a staff member or not. As I stated previously, I don't see how the fact that it was in front of a staff member makes a difference. Could you perhaps further explain your reasoning?

If you told him you were hacking on another server I highly doubt you'd be banned.

I personally do not like this rule. I think hacking on another server is completely separate from brawl. I know he did it in front of a brawl moderator, but really?

    GO ON STRIKE!!!!

I think halo should get his money back. So what if EBKN hacked infront of a staff member on a completely unrelated server. Raziah is a staff member on McBrawl, not a staff member on the other random server. This was a very stupid move on Raziah's part, if EBKN was hacking on another server Raziah should have reported him there, not to here.

Think of it this way. You're a criminal. You kill 5 people in Miami, and you moved to Los Angeles. Just because you're in a different place, doesn't mean there is no penalty. If you're caught hacking, you should be banned no matter the server.

    This is hacking, not murder..
What if you looked at it this way? If we're doing to do this.

Let's say you flame at some people in Miami. Because you're able to get banned from flame here. Then you move to Los Angeles. Would you be thrown in jail? No. Don't compare these to in real life situations, especially one as large as murder.

This is such bull if you hack on another server even if there is a mod there you shouldn't get banned. That's like saying if you were Jewish in Germany you should also die in America wtf? (Excuse me for the disturbing reference.)

This is a very controversial topic with valid points on each side, but I will have to side with the members here.

It is extremely unfair to ban someone for hacking on a different server, for crying out loud one of your former staff members (Specknav) hacks on other servers all the time! Unless you have solid evidence that they are hacking on Brawl, and brawl alone, they should not be banned for hacking on other servers. Even if it infront of a staff member (from Brawl).

There was and is a reason why we never banned players for hacking on other servers: They could be nicked as a different person on that server or it could be a cracked server where you are able to log in with a non-premium account. Thats the reason why we never accepted proof of players hacking on other servers than Brawl.

Now, you got to understand that we only ban players for hacking on other servers if a staff member sees them hacking and/or records it. We are still not accepting proof of players hacking on other servers because it could be faked.
Hacking in front of one of our staff members is purely provocative and should be punished.

However, in EBKNPlayers I'm tied. On the one hand, we did not have the rule that we ban players for hacking on other servers. On the other hand hacking in front of a staff member is really provocative and I can understand that he was banned for doing so. Hacking is frowned upon by almost all minecraft servers for a simple reason: It destroys the purpose of the game and the fun for legit players.

It's not complete bs. If someone hacked on another server, then banning the same person could prevent them from using hacks on Brawl. Although, I agree there's not much of a difference between a staff member seeing someone hack and a player seeing someone hack.

There still should have been a rule in place before we took action. Basically, what happened is EBKN got punished for something we didn't have specifically stated in our rules, and that really bothers me. I'm no supporter of hacking, but when it comes to rules and enforcing them, we shouldn't overstep our boundaries. I think that we should have handled it differently. EBKN should not have been banned, but we should have made a public announcement (like we did with the ride-along policy) stating how we would be handling situations like this in the future. That is, if indeed we were still going to go with the idea that hacking in front of a staff member is different than hacking in front of a normal player. I still have issues with that idea.
