    If I used the term "swag" in one of the 3 words I use to describe myself in my application. Would you be ok with it or would you take it so seriously that you would type in caps a "NO" and give me a -1 for that reason.

    Whoever says SWAG means Secretly We Are Gay, gay is not an insult.

    You can use it, but it shows you're immature and therefore deserving of a "no" vote.

    I can't stand the words hashtag, yolo, and swag. Especially if you mix it with twenty-thirteen.

    "Swag" is popularized due to little idiotic teenagers, listening to a genre that has no point anymore, or atleast the majority. You know, because listening to extremely repetitive lyrics, normally with a ****ty generic beat in the backround, is totally a genre of music. The next god damned Mozart right there.

    Overall, shows immaturity, and saying "Swag" really is like saying "Cool" but not as an adjective. Would you say "I have so much cool?" No. Also it's not even the right definition, swag already HAS an established real meaning and slang.

    Swag(Real): A curtain decoration. EG: Oh Debbie don't you like our new swag over the window?
    Swag(Slang1): Free items, promotional stuff from conventions given by companies. EG: I got some swag from Minecon 2012!
    Swag(The IQ lower than 1 term): ??? EG: BRUH I HEZ SAO MUSH SWAG!

    Ok thank you for your responses. I just like to use the term very frequently but since the both of you reminded me how it will negatively affect my Application that I might create within months, I won't be using it. Also, will it still affect my application because I used it in the server or other parts of the forums besides applying for staff?

    It shouldn't, if you are being judged based on the application. Someone might say that your immaturity shows when you say "swag" across the forums and servers.

    Small difference. Immature is not acting of age, the way I put. To me, it is just another way of saying silly for fun, as people don't simply act immature without a reason.

    Actually I use swag a lot but it's my favorite term to use. I'm not immature as in typing in caps or cursing on the forums. I know that I've never used caps or typed curses on the forums but if you don't recommend using swag a lot then I'll try not to use it as much as I can.

    So if I were actually promoted as a Moderator, I can still use the term right? I'm still keeping swag in my signature.

    Oh course. Moderator position doesn't eliminate you from using any kinds of words. I mean look, some moderators use actual curse words.
