[Admin] Staff interviews #10 Signatured ~ Mr. Quill

Hey folks! Here's another staff interview coming right at ya! Today @Signatured is in the spot light!

1. Where and when did you find McBrawl?

I first joined Brawl (MultiplayerServers at the time) in early August of 2013. I was first introduced to WarZ by @Luigi and a few of his friends. After playing WarZ for a few months we (@Mojang, @Mario and @Yoshi) found McWar, and we loved it. We played for hours on end everyday.

2. What made you want to become staff?

I've always been more of a leader than a player. I had owned a server in the past, and loved the feeling of watching it grow and blossom. I wanted to make more of a difference of Brawl, so I applied in November of 2013.

3. Where does your username come from?

I've had multiple main accounts throughout my years of playing Minecraft, but Signatured has always been my favorite. The name was actually thought up by @Mojang when were looking for cool, original names.

4. What is your main Admin job and what problems or things do you have to go through?

My main job is to keep the staff in order. I handle promotions/demotions, making sure the staff are using the correct protocol in all situations. Sometimes I have to demotion someone I don't want to, which is always difficult.

5. What is your favorite writing utensil to write with?

My good 'ol quill and ink.

6. What do you like or dislike about McBrawl?

I love the community and the heart of the members. You guys make what I do that much easier.

7. What would you change or add to McBrawl?

We have big plans underway as we speak. They will start to unfold within the next few weeks

8. What was your reaction when you were promoted to SMOD then quickly to Adminstrator?

I was quite surprised by the quick transition, and was thrilled to start improving Brawl on a new level.

9. What motivated you to become a big part of the staff team?

From the moment I found Brawl, I knew I wanted to do something more than play the servers for my own enjoyment. I wanted to insure others had the same experience I did. From that moment on, that was, and still is, my goal.

10. How long did it take you to right your first mc-war mod application? I remember it was an McBrawl world record!

It wasn't something you could sit down and write in one session, I'll tell you that. I worked on my application over a 2+ week timeframe, and probably put 10+ hours into writing and perfecting it. I believed in having quantity equal your quality.

11. Anything else we should know?

For those who weren't around as long as others, you may not know that my application was originally denied. After I was denied, I didn't give up on my goal. The next month, I doubled my activity, became a respected member on the forums, and didn't quit. This caught the attention of the Admins, and I was rewarded for my efforts. The moral of the story? Don't give up.
