    As you may or may not know, you will have the ability to change your Minecraft username on Feburary 4th. To my knowledge, McBrawl has not released any information about what will occur if your name is changed.

    Will you lose your player data?

    There may be some other issues with name changes that may effect the servers and the players. I feel the community hasn't been given enough information about how McBrawl is going to handle the name changes.

    Every Minecraft Profile has a special UUID, thats connected to your account and not your name. so it wont remove anything when you get a new name

    I know that, but sometimes data is stored based on player names.

    I don't think so... My IP has changed a couple times and my data has saved.

    It is not stored in player names. You get an ID for your player and do not lose it. Please stop making threads like these because there has been about 5 already.

    All stats, ranks and so on will stored with a players UUID. Go here for more informations.
    On forums, you will be able to update your username, it will check for your IGN and change your forums name if necessary.
