Multiplayer Servers Mod Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? -
I am very often on the server(s) including mc-war.com & mc-warz.com for at least several hours at a time. I'll log on during the week, not even to play. But at least being on the server to check in with my allied players and sometimes the random question from someone just starting out. I am on the forums (though usually tabbed out in another window) from the time I get home till about 8-9 pm. I'll browse the topics, and sometimes find one of interest and/or a good laugh at times. If more input is needed on my part, then gladly I can adjust. Teamspeak I have experimented with on several occasions, and if it is a needed and/or preferred medium to use then I can and look forward to establishing a presence on such.

Experience with Minecraft and Moderating (If you are going to list servers, provide proof): I have been a proud and joyful user of minecraft since... beta 1.2 In fact. I had turned to the open world (almost literal) sandbox game play style by an old friend of mine. It was a bit sketchy to me actually, until I had discovered the game was as limited as your imagination. And because of that, I quickly found my footing and hit the 1x1 ground running. It became a bit of an obsession with myself to the point I would stay attached to the wiki and any semi-reputable source for information as far as updates were concerned. I only gripped my seat further with the release of the Adventure Update in 1.8, and saw in awe as the possibilities just increased exponentially in the addition of every small feature. I had helped host a beginner server with my friend who introduced me into minecraft. Nothing fancy, it consisted of a survival and creative world linked via nether portals. After the passing of my friend, I still had my beginning knowledge of hosting and maintaining a server. I moved on to try out a number of different servers, some based on competitive play or pure pvp/faction and others just about creating a life and sharing with a community. I will admit that I didn't have much to do in the overall process of Crafting much, at least not anything that'd be used in game. But being a monitor or wallflower as I referred to it, just observing the flow of the servers. Finding anything that'd be unbalanced and or exploited. Then reporting back to the actual administrators and or moderators. This (hopefully) will give me the chance to show my knowledge and leadership as far as helping to control and regulate a living, breathing, and quite active community for the better.

What do you feel that you will provide to the server?
Well, I'm hoping to provide a bit of balance. A glimpse of compassion in an otherwise very hostile and one-sided world. I've come in contact with a number of, rather hostile players and unfortunately administrators. I feel personally my adept perception skills will provide an unbiased look at things, not even purely in game. But moreover to just making sure everyone has an enjoyable time on the server and any questions/concerns are met with actual answers; rather than "You're just a stupid noob, eZ" and responses of the like. If someone can take the time to ask, then I at least owe them the time to answer.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? -
Quite, I'm on for several hours a day usually.
How active do you consider yourself on TS3? -
As stated before, I have experimented but I will devote time for if it's needed.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? -
As stated I am usually always tabbed in, though I won't say much if it isn't directed towards me.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -
My strengths would be in my ability to learn and quickly grasp concepts and new ideas, as well as being able to efficiently prioritize a situation and act based on it.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
Honestly, I'll doubt my own abilities. Often times. But to my own surprise It will occasionally work out. Overall I literally hate myself, so showing/giving respect isn't much of an issue, I'm just here to do my job.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? -
Give them a warning, and explain what rule was broken, as well as why its a rule.
How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? -
I would again, reconfirm the fact that it is a rule for a reason, and it being minor, I would give them another chance.
How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? -
By this far, they haven't and will not listen to reason. So I'll recite the rule once more, then proceed to kick them after taking the needed evidence.

What is your reaction if someone publically proves you wrong on the forums? -
I will humbly admit my mistake, and apologize to the offended parties.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
Alert the nearest admin.

When would you lock a thread? -
I wouldn't, lacking the power to do so. However, if one should turn into a flame war, and or just completely get beside and off the initial topic. Then I would alert an admin to do so.

Anything else we should know about you? -
I've been a gamer for quite some time, looking froward to becoming a member of the team and I cannot wait to see this project grow.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Plugins I am familiar with, certain allowances and restrictions of the game via coding. Commands I am a bit rusty, but I catch on rather quickly.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? -Absolutely.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - As I have done before, I will alert the player, and take a screenshot of the offense/offender in question. I will then inform them that Out Of Mapping via Glitch or Map Error is not to be exploited by any means. I will also take a screenshot (if possible) and await compliance with the Escapee or alert a moderator.

Though this wasn't listed in the application, I have come in contact with several players throughout my months on mc-warz.com, and there should be an answer for that. I have access and utilization of several video recording software programs with which I am hoping to catch evidence of hackers, and those suspected of the dark tools, with such software. Any alleged hackers on the server will be investigated based on the number of reports and the hack in question. Though some are a lot harder to prove than others. I do indeed look to shed a little light on such things.

In closing, my abilities and mind are a canvas for the mc-war/warz staff community to paint with as they see fit. Whether it is to investigate one sole aspect of the game or simply observe and test things as a whole. I am here to help and I hopefully will join your ranks. And actually, I do agree. I plan to increase my activity exponentially, yet not to the point where it is spamworthy. I have been a member of several forums before this one, and honestly, It does become something of an addictive habit after awhile. Time to creep the forums^^
