    Well, we all know that minecraft 1.8 broke a lot of things, including breaking blocks to suicide. As Myortvye has said before, 80% of people use the most recent minecraft version, which means 80% of people cannot suicide, this is where this command comes in. To suicide, you would do /kill or /suicide
    This is not that long of a thread, as it is a very simple idea

    Bring it back, but don't let it be used in infect. Suciding needs to be stopped :/

    I used to suicide all the time for infect, but now there are just too many people that do it. Maybe make it so /suicide makes it so you only earn 2 credits and 75 xp per kill, like it was before

    I talked to Putty about this a few months ago. He said that the console says the War servers are in the survival gamemode and not adventure, put the servers act like they are in adventure mode.

    The only way (I think) to solve this would be /kill.

    But block glitching doesn't count a death to your overall total, but a /kill command would be nice. And you couldn't kill others too like for example if @Xx_AlphaWolf_xX typed /kill Speedo1735 it wouldn't kill me, it'd kill whoever executed the command

    Just let a zombie kill you. No need to implement a new command.

    You are not even supposed to suicide, just play the game like it actually is. We don't need a /kill, if you are too desperate and need to suicide, let a zombie kill you.

    But what if the root is afk? Then what will happen? Everyone just sits around the entire game?

    We could make it so if the root does not move for 15 seconds, a new root is selected.

    You are both forgetting about the 20% of people who don't use 1.8. They will most likely suicide, taking the place of the afk. Also I think, Jakob, your idea would be hard to code, as getting knocked back from shots counts as "moving". I honestly think, as a suicider, infect should be played properly, without suiciding anyway. The objective is to survive, not to instantly die.

    Make suicide only give you 1 credit and 25 exp per kill, and I'll agree on it.

    Lol, I kidding, just yes, +1, and so, the /kill or the /suicide is the same, when you die in infect or you just die, you become a zombie. And so don't need to add a /suicide.

    But then there would be no point, as getting kills with a gun is easier than getting kills with your fist. The reason everyone suicides is because they get easy exp.

    That's the point. I disagree with that mechanic. While as a normal zombie, the should happen. So there isn't much of a difference, whether you die or not.
