New Ban Protocol: Names

    Since name changing is now out, and free to do, we have decided to introduce a new protocol. This is in regards to vulgar, threatening, or inappropriate player names. We have decided that players that have these names should not be allowed to play on our servers.

    So, any names that either violate our in-game chat filter, are obviously derogatory, or contain illegal references (DDoS, Swat, etc) will be banned from McBrawl. The ban will be for at max, 30 days, and at minimum, 1 day. It all depends on when you are able to change your name. In the future, we will have an automatic system for detecting if you have changed your name and then it will pardon you.

    This protocol will be in effect starting 3/20/2015. We chose this date because it is one week and 30 days after you were able to change your name. Which means that people who chose bad names will be fine until they can change them again.

    I think this is directed towards WarZ since war doesn't cause most of the "eZ or pomggg" stuff to trend. But this will definetly help the community stay cleaner. I think the ban duration depends on how severely bad the name is

    The ban duration depends on when they are able to change their name again. If they fail to change it they will stay banned.

    This should have been in effect before now... Most of the inappropriate names were alts of WarZ players anyway. >:v
