    Hi Brawlers,

    I think some long standing players have changed their name and I think it would be very rude if some rookie picked up one of these well known names.

    I think there should be some naming rules around poaching names.

    On the funny side I have seen the ultimate compliment name for @Lekosa1 someone picked up @Lekosa2.

    I've been pondering using @sjuka_legogubbars_mom as a compliment to one of my pals....to strike fear into everyone. (back on point)

    Now that everyone is changing their names it is very difficult to figure out who is who.

    There's a new name change protocol, but it only prevents vulgar and innapropriate names.

    I'm thinking more about naming etiquette for long held names. Some rookie shouldn't be able to go pick up EmperorCreeperIV because it is temporarily not being used.

    I'm actually happy about this, I think this could lower the target rates on Lekosa1 and some guys who don't have good eyesight (xD) wont target me and target Lekosa2. I get your point tho

    Nobody has been doing this so far so that is good! But if the reason is unfortunate and they happen to include vulgar language, one of the mods made a thread about it.

    Your original name is your own problem, if you don't want anyone to take it, create a alt and take the name with it.

    You still get a week to get your name back lol. You can't really poach a name, Mo... Microsoft gives you one whole week to recover your name, if you don't get it back during this period. Tough luck.

    That's not that scary.
    My one friend (he who shall not be named) can find someone's house using only their ip, and can get it through skype, mumble, or teamspeak.

    I don't think there is much we can do to prevent this. And adding to what Roke said, if you care about your first name, change your new un-famous name back to your precious one.
