Monthly Themed Maps?

So, I've just been thinking, and I am aware there is a lot of stuff going on with war at the moment e.g updates etc. However, wouldn't it be good to perhaps spice things up a bit with a October themed map? For one month only!?

So the idea - The idea is that there is a Haunted House styled map, just for the month of october. It could even perhaps, be used just for 2 maybe 3 weeks as we near the 31st October. I just think it would be cool to have a special themed map up for a limited time only.

Some people might find this unnecessary, and I don't blame you. There is no real reason behind the map apart from it being a special time of the year. Its just an idea to make things slightly more interesting.

A similar idea could also be done for other special times of the year, for example, a christmas map?

There is lots of different ways this could go, I mean, if we go down the route of a christmas map, there could be a competition for people to build there own christmas map and then it is judged, and the winner wins a prize, just like in the regular monthly competitions, and the map is added to the War server just for the month of December.

This is just an idea to be messed around with and to see if this is something War players would like to see.

Nope, the map can just be for example, different rooms in a haunted house, but there just has to be separate spawn points.

 

Yeah, 300 by 300 is probably the most suitable size, so, if you want an example. If you were planning on doing a halloween based map, I would have a large haunted mansion, with a large garden area at the front and back.

Maybe even a 'Haunted house' version of the Call of Duty map 'Nuketown' would be cool?
