Voting for Premium Guns

That's a good idea, but I think a premium gun balance would do wonders before implementing this feature (fixing the crossbow, buffing LAW, etc).

 

*Preparing Baggage* I'm leaving to much Rays for me. It does make it fair in a way though.

 

Here is what I suggest:

When bought with tokens:
Premium Weapon = 12 Tokens (AKA 2 Weapons every 5 days)
Player receives said weapon for 1.5 hours (90 Minutes)

This is enough time to experiment with weapons but also stresses the fact that the player does not have it permanently. By giving them "a taste", they will definitely want more as lets be honest... Nothing is more satisfying then spraying infects with lazer beams. C: It also means players can't just get this premium weapon every day. Having it twice every 5 days seems fairly balanced in my opinion.

 

I actually would love to see this happen. That is, however when balancing and such comes in so that it isn't basically like the same issues seen. Still, this'll give a good chance for people who don't or can't donate have a chance to use new weapons.

 

It is a good idea but like the other guys above her said: The guns needs to be balanced first. Even if it's just for 1 life, it isn't fun for the other players if they see an increase of ray infect.

 

I like the idea! Perhaps the price could be 2 tokens per use per game.

 

Great idea!
A player without a rank can vote for 50 tokens (10x5). I think that 20 tokens for 1 gun is good. This means a player (without a rank) can try out a max of 2 guns per day.
But what about perks?
You need scavenger for cbow, minigun and ray gun. So this brought me to another idea.
For 100 tokens a player can buy a whole set of stuff. He is only able to do once per 2 days, wich is good for a try-out in my opinion. MVP's, who get 20 tokens per vote, can do this once a day.

Possible sets:

Demolisher.
Diamond sword
Ray-Gun
His secondary weapon (we need a donor weapon for this )
Scavenger
Grenades
Flashbangs

C-bow.
Diamond sword
Crossbow
His secondary weapon
Scavenger
Diamond armor
C4
Flashbangs

Minigun.
Diamond sword
Minigun
His secondary weapon
Scavenger
Super armor
C4
Molotovs

Because of the super armor the player will perform better than usual. This gives the player a good thought about the crossbow / minigun, so he will more likely donate for it.

 

I think the prices should be set lower for LAW and Flamethrower, while C-bow has the highest price.

 

This sounds amazing, however the players should have to save up all their tokens for one to two day before they would be able to purchase something like the raygun or Cbow.

I'm pretty neutral, it won't make that much of an difference.

I know I don't play War more. But this is a good idea for non-donors and donors themselves.

War has WAY to many donors, for example: Playing infect, half the blue team has a ray gun.

There is practically no such thing as a "non-donor" anymore. -1

 

This could work out, it would be horrid on a full server 1 though....

I think allowing the members to rent a specific gun of their choosing for a certain price for a total of 24 hours would be reasonable.

I like this idea, but I am more neutral as to whether or not it is implemented.
