    Name changes... staff...

    Combine those and at least I have a problem.

    You see, often times whenever there is a disturbance on the lobby I'm playing on, instead or reporting, I go for the more immediate response, asking a Mod to hop over if they're not busy. But lately this hasn't working and has taken a turn for the worse, for three reasons.

    1: Mods either emptied their non-staff friendlist members, though I don't understand why they would do that. :/
    2: They changed their names and now I have no idea who they are. For example, who is Invader now. ;c
    3: They are working on server glitches, it's what someone told me, tho I still don't believe that would require every single Mod all the time. :v

    Because of this, every infect game has OOMers, spammers and people saying very bad things and making the lobby unbearable are going rampant (Like it's really bad sometimes, I almost wanna turn my chat off), etc. And reporting them an hour later after they've stopped isn't really gonna help.

    So, two ways to fix this that might not be that hard:

    1: Configure the friendlist in sections, with Mods in one area of the inventory, maybe everyone in another or even divide them by level. Or if that's too complicated, make their name different from the rest, purple or whatever coincides with their rank.

    2: Just have more Mod's online... seriously... Even a few months ago before this started happening I wouldn't see a single Mod on Server 2 for two weeks unless I called for them...

    At least I think this is an important issue, and one that needs resolving at this time of glitches more than ever, but I do understand you guys are super busy. :v

    Oh, and jaydenchadd leaving the clan and getting back in it didn't do a thing. ;-;

    Well, this is a complicated subject. I am currently friends with a ton of moderators, so they really haven't emptied their friends list
    More mods online? Keep in mind that these moderators have to manage about 30-40 servers, so please don't criticize their activity
    Staff are required to show their previous names on the forums in some way. For example, Xx_Alphawolf_xX has the word jayden in his profile pic, showing that he is jaydenchadd. Shayne set the word "Giggadream" to his status. And if you see OOMers, report them.
    Also, Invader never changed his name. He is an Mc-War veteran, GoW owner, and former moderator

    1. Invader isn't a staff member anymore.
    2. There is a forum staff list for a reason.
    3. Train your memory.

    The staff have not cleared their friends list of non-staff members. I still have most of the current staff added and I often see @Xx_AlphaWolf_xX, @LeTim or another War mod online kicking OOM players and doing their jobs.

    This is caused by the recoil glitch, abused by many players.

    1. Invader was demoted.

    2. All staff that changed their name must have their old one somewhere on the profile picture, title, etc.

    3. We don't have many war moderators and they are all in different time zones. I don't know if @chickenputty has announced what we will be doing to solve this or not.

    4. What difference does it make if a staff member changed his / her name? A staff member is a staff member, there to help.

    I think I can criticize their activity when there isn't a single one I'm friends with on any server for hours. :/

    Yeah, it helps on the Forums, but IG, no. Plus, there are tons of new names to remember, and they all get mixed up .

    Some of you may have noticed that I'm no longer a active member of this community. I found a new (german) server with a small community and good staff.

    I can't understand why McBrawl can't add some simple commands like "/team" or "/staff" that shows who's online right now. It just takes a few minutes of coding.

    They have a small community (about 100 players) and are better organized than McBrawl. You always know what the staff is doing and you can contact them almost 24/7.
    This two features could make McBrawl to a better place.

    1: Oh really? 0.o why may I ask?

    2: But as I said, that really doesn't help in game when there are 100 other names you are trying to memorize as well. :/

    3: But, for example, I know your name, but I havent seen you online since the 1.8 update once. Nor Invader, which I saw often, nor Chickenninja, etc. Ive only seen on Mod, Rob, and that was once.

    4: I'm not saying the problem is that they changed their name, I'm saying it is now much harder to contact them, and activity is a growing concern.

    As they have said above, the easiest solution is to either check the forum to find online staff members, or simply remember names. Meow!

    That's just a lame excuse.
    It's the servers fault for not showing who is online. Don't blame the players.

    Hum... I have many friends who are mod and still have me in their friend list and YES sometimes they have to be like 5 on a creative server but because they are building new maps together.

    You can't just say all staff members emptied their friend list. Maybe some did, but definitely not all.

    A staff member is a staff member, no matter what their name is. Use this website to check who is who.

    You propably missunderstood that. When they said "We are working on fixing the server glitches" they meant that the coders are trying to fix the issues, the Moderators only test bugs sometimes.

    I don't really get what you suggest. Do you mean a special list showing all the staff members online?

    We can't just promote random people. Moderators get some powerful commands, we need to make sure they are mature and won't abuse their position. However, we are working on a solution.

    I have almost every moderator friended.

    @soccerstars is almost always the only McWar moderator online whenever I need help. The only other person who's been online besides him when I've needed help was @Lord_Roke, but that doesn't really count because he's a super moderator.

    Wolf, there are two reasons why you haven't seen a staff member on war. 1. You don't go on the populated servers of war or 2. All of the staff have different time zones. This is most likely why you haven't seen a moderator on war.

    I used to see moderators online 24/7, now I see only 1.
