Ok so since the release of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, I was thinking, why not bring it to Mc-war? This would gin more players to mc-war. Many people have been losing interest and leaving. I believe with a few changes we can change this. I know if this does happen the servers will be down for some time to code certain things again, but this would mak the game more interesting, and people who make videos will promote this through their recordings. Maybe bring in a jump boost paired up with feather falling, to almost mimic the actions of the exo suits. Maybe add a hidden key so you can do this when you double tap the spacebar. Then add a little speed boost when you use the sprint key, or double tap any of the directional keys, W A S D. This way its more fun to dodge bullets. This idea would add a little more fun to mc-war and a little more intensity and possibly some speed to the game. To jump some extra height could help many OOMers. So I wondered if we could make a dome around each map like In Wildwest, or have some people tweak the maps so people can't go OOM or very hard to reach areas. This would be fun in many Gamemodes such as Tdm and CTF. You cloud do some serious and epic quickscoping too. That leads to another fault. The jump boost and speed boost are fun, but can become OP. So I thought maybe these actions could all be affected by the sprint meter. Instead of it going only half a bar every second you sprint, make it so that when you use these actions you lose an entire hunger ham that way you can control the OPness this can become. Also I think this should be available to anyone once they join the server. No one wants to donate or use all their credits to use this. It would also be fair, that way if some one did donate, he is not the one jumping around and getting a lot of speed nukes. Now infect. I think it still should be enabled for everyone, even the infected, but when the usage of the uninfected users runs out, that's it no more jumping around. This would give the zombies a bit of an edge over the overpowered ray gun. This would also make things a bit more even in infected. That way there is not that one person sitting on a building sniping with the ray. Sure the zombies will get high scores, but I think some one will adapt to this and find a way to counter this. Also this will help zombies on maps such as Stormfront because many people will find that ledge near their spawn and get massive kills. This is just a suggestion and I respect anyone's opinions and the decisions of the moderators and owners. I hope this plan will be carried out in the future. Maybe a Beta test will help in showing what I mean in this thread. Also since many seem to enjoy the OG CoD elements, maybe make this a special gamemode as suggested.

If this would've been inplemented, War 2.0 would be a waste.

    This.

The 2.0 is going to be based off Modern Warfare and Black Ops series, as far as I'm aware. If it were to be advanced warfare, it would require a global stat reset (which I'm completely against).
Secondly, developing it for a single coder would be a suicide. I'm strongly against this idea.

Well there's one thing that I think should be added if Advanced Warfare comes to mc-war: Jetpacks as you mentioned in your thread.
This system is very easy to implement since I have seen another server use this system.

Not quite. McBrawl uses an anti cheat system that quite often rubber bands players. If a player attempts to jump more than one block, he is instantly shot back. This is also why the 'boosts' in the spawn lobby no longer work. So if the jetpack, or double jump, were to be added, we would have to change some of the anti cheat plugins or fix lag issues < o v o >

Advanced Warfare is only one game. Mc-War is based off the entire CoD franchise in general.

The thing is that the mechanics advanced warfare uses might not return in the next Cods. There are 3 studios working on COD and they most likely won't be using the mechanics of advanced warfare with the boosting and dashing. So, if we change it we might have people, next year, who want it back. We either have to have a special gamemode for it in war or just leave it alone. In my opinion.

@KlasseMann had the same idea for Exo suits in general. Maybe we can use exos that aren't the double jump boost?

You know what's funny, like chopo said this game has always been about being the minecraft version of:
    ModernWarfare
    Blackops
With some maps from Ghost and earlier cods.
I am fine with having some of the smaller Advanced-warfare maps be implanted, but the second you try and put ideas that are suppose to be in a futuristic shooter into a more moderen Cod shooter.... It's a -1

If you were to add in all of this then you might as well say goodbye to War 2.o.
