Abusing Combat Logging

If they logout, log back in and abuse spawn protection to kill you, then they will be banned. Just logging out is currently allowed.

 

This is the kind of mess whenever you implement something like /logout >_<

To be honest I like the combat logging. The non-donators like me have to often struggle in fights, like, in 20 out of 21 occasions, the donators are going to win and I can not TP back like they can.
It was in WarZ a while before as well.

 

Then there's also the fact that people abuse it to be an ass, that's why this was implemented in the first place.

 

Well, yeah. That's the bad part, but isn't there a way to fix it, e.g. either shorten or remove it?

 

They should bring back the old, old logout system, where u have to /ct before logging

 

The one with /ct and then a free disconnect without waiting?

 

@Mario if i record a player logging of in combat then 1 sec later joining agan with spawn prot kill 1 Off My teammates then loggens Off Again and joins untill till My entrire. Team is gone is that a perm ban?

You don't have to do /ct before its only if you are one hundred percent sure you are tagged.

 

Instead of /logout there would be combat tagging.

 

I guess it all comes down to whether you want to play in a WarZ where logging is far easier or whether you want to play in a WarZ where logging is much harder.

Maybe some sort of poll could decide?

 

Well, the answer to that question comes down to: are there more donators or nondonators?

 

That's a tricky question. At any given time there are probably about the same number of MVPs and non-donors online, but MVPs play more regularly, there are far more non-donors than donors overall. But then again, the donors are generally a bigger part of the community.

This is why I think a community poll could help. However there are going to be far more MVPs voting than non-donors.

 

Please just add the /logout system back @Mario

 

I fixed all the issues regarding the logout plugin, now it's just up to Putty to install it. (go bug him)
