Brawl

I'm sure they brought it up with the other staff members and then all the staff members chose that Brawl would be better than MCBrawl.

 

I'm pretty sure there were staff members against this idea as well.

 

Yeah, there would be a few staff members against it, but I guess majority rules.

 

Because the community is constantly in one huge brawl. I don't know but that would be awesome if they had decided to expand our diversity of games into others like Indie and Valve. I emphasized that awesome because that's how serious I am.

I like it because it drops the "Mc" cliché that is used in many other server names. Most server names try to make a connection to the word Minecraft, whether it be by adding Mine-, Mc-, or -Craft to the base. I feel dropping it helps the server stand out better, however I feel that something is missing from the name. It seems incomplete in a way now that the prefix has been dropped. I would say a new prefix or suffix should be added, one that is unique and doesn't follow other server naming trends.

I do not think Brawl should add servers to different games. Brawl got its name from Minecraft, and Minecraft is a completely different market and setting then other (steam) games. With a lot of experience working on servers for both games, I can say trying to add servers to new games would not be a good business strategy unless they really know what they are doing. Attempting to add servers to new games with out fully understanding it completely can be suicide, especially since Brawl is already known in a certain market.
