I've noticed this as well, prejudice is something that flows like water around the internet. The best way I've found to shut people like these up is getting a nice, easy, conflict resolving nuclear strike. People tend to shut up after that.
But on a serious note: I am a large advocate for female gamers, they make up a large amount of the community and are people just as much as males are, who's opinions matter. I find it disgusting that humans can be so cruel to other humans for something as trivial as gender. I will not and have not allowed this disgraceful action to take place in my presence, neither should any of us. Make sure to put your foot down sooner rather then later

Kinda shows how the community has deteriorated since the early days of Brawl (or should I say McBrawl ;3?)
Tbh, I wasn't even playing back then, but it was supposedly supposed to be non-ragey and friendly. I was playing two years ago, and I feel like I remember that, but I don't feel like I do.

The community's pretty bad as of now. I think. Or you know, it could just be people's behaviors about gender-issues.

And @MR_EVIL_OVERLORD , you can always do what I do and block the people you don't like. For example, I blocked a rager two days ago, so that was good. After a month, I look at the people I blocked and realize "wait, why did they get blocked in the first place?" So I give them another chance. And then I block the same people. Over and over and over again. The cycle never ends...

 

Thats impossible without a handy Fedora.

I seriously just don't see how girl gamers are a big deal to some people. It's very gender appropriating and whenever we are surprised to see a girl gamer online it turns into a monkey show. It's ridiculous

 

The lies, oh the sweet ol'lies. Indeed, you were actually spamming my name in chat, however you kept saying that I wanted to (apparently in yours and tyuio's case) "bang" you. Towards the end everyone just pissed me off so I disconnected.

 

You can do what I do and just block everybody that bothers you. That includes people who say I'm a noob, people who rage quite often, people who say profanity and racist slurs, etc.

 

Girl gamers rarely play. When girl gamers play, boy gamers get exited. When Boy gamers get exited, they start to chat. When they chat, the chat dirty things. When they say dirty things, girl gamers leave. When girl gamers leave, other boy gamers make forum threads about it. When boy gamers write forum threads about it, girl gamers comment in it. When girl gamers comment in it, boys get excited. When boys get excited they spam.
