    Hi, I would like to learn how to edit texture packs better, i already use paint.net and all that, but i don't know how to add pictures to it, or graphics or anything like that. Any links or tutorials please?

    Trying to add like a galaxy picture or something in that sense to it.

    Just download the "Basic Pack". And also edit the blocks like you want.

    Photoshop really isn't that good for low-res stuff like this :v

    GIMP.org is nice.
    Or GraphicsGale on Windows (or Wine, if you're dedicated enough)

    If you can't afford photoshop then use GIMP.

    Also now that we got the applications out of the way... What do you exactly need help with?

    Well i've made it, but it always turns into a purple and black checker board square.. any suggestions on fixing it?

    Your image resolution has to be a power of 2: for example,
    1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, etc.
    The standard size is 16px.
