[Mod] Staff Interview #16 Halo_ ~ We'll miss you

whats up brawlers! Today I'm here for another staff interview! Today @Halo_ is in the spotlight!

Now you may be asking, "WAIT BLAMO! Halo isn't a mod anymore!" Indeed he isn't, but he resigned in the middle of the interview and I didn't just want to get rid of it. So here it is! We'll miss you Halo!

1) How and when did you find out about Brawl?
I found Brawl around the end of may, 2014. I found out about Brawl through my younger brother who plays on Brawls survival server, his name is UltraPunisher.

2) what was your last username? How did you come up with both your current name and last name?
My last usernames was HaloGearsKiller. I chose HaloGearsKiller because when I got my first xbox360 I bought the games Halo and GearsOfWar. I liked both games a lot so when I was trying to creat my xbox live gamer tag. I couldn’t decide what my name should be. I thought well I like Halo I like gears of war and I mean i’m gonna kill everyone i’ll go with HaloGearsKiller. Therefore its been my username for every game I play.

3) What are some thing you would change on brawl?
I think some one else stated this before but ill just say it again. I would like to change the way a lot of players see staff members. Without really getting to know us, some players already don’t like us cause were staff members. I feel like a lot of the time they see us as these monsters that just wanna ruin there fun. Thats not the case at all though, even though were staff members we love to have fun as well. Maybe we could do more events or something were the players and staff mix up together. Not play against each other all the time. Its always kinda been players vs staff. I really just wanna create a better relationship between the players and the staff members.

4) what's it like being a moderator of three servers? Is it dificult?
Moderating 3 servers is a very fun experience. I really don’t find it that difficult. Of course you moderate each server differently though. I try and show a good amount of attention to all 3 of my servers. Even though I probably show the most attention at the moment to WarZ. All 3 servers are amazing and I enjoy moderating every single one of them.

5) what do you do to make your visor so shiny?
Spit shine it. Spit on my helmets visor, take a rag then wipe. Then I have the shiniest visor ever.

My first friends on brawl were @RitzY and @KK2B

7) what are some things you find to be hard about moderating?
Playing WarZ and moderating can be a bit tricky. Its not super easy to moderate chat when you're being shot at. Also some times you have those days were you just get so many people asking you questions at the same time, which can be a little over whelming. I just relax though and answer everyones question as fast as possible.

8) what did/do you find to be most stressfull about being/becoming a
moderator?
Once you first try to become a moderator a lot of people will try to put you down. You’ll have those certain people call you a “try hard” or they’ll simply just say “oh you’ll never get mod”. If you can pretty much just ignore them and be patient with all the things you must achieve to become mod. Such as forums posts Ts activity and in-game activity you’re good to go. Its not really that hard if you truly are here to help people. If your intentions are right then I feel like you will easily succeed.

9) what are some of your rage moments on brawl?
I use to rage a lot once I first joined brawl. You can easily see that with my ban history. I was not the most friendly/kind person at the beginning. I’m glad I quit doing that though and cleaned up my act.

10)How did it feel to be the most active mod in brawl history?
Well I don’t know if being the most active mod in brawl history was necessarily a good thing. I think I had way to much free time on my hands. I did enjoy moderating on brawl though. It was a fun and amazing experience that I will dearly miss.
