From what I know, all coders have been spending a lot of time on MCMoba, which is the main priority right now. Yes, I feel like they should work harder on the other server, because there are glitches and bugs that are extremely well known. I agree with you 100% however.

 

When 2.0 is out, this will all be fixed.

Myortvye is working on MOBA by himself, and melsha is working on War 2.0.

 

Myortvye's main focus is McMoba and kit brawl, which are coming along very well as seen by sneak peeks. Right now we have one coder working almost non stop on war 2.0. His name is Melsha (killer_99). He has been working very hard on this update and that hard work is paying off well. War 2.0 isn't just an update, it's an entire new server with no lag, new game modes, new kill streaks, new guns, and much much more. So be patient, war 2.0 is coming out a lot sooner then you would think .

The progress of the 2.0 update has been been kept from the players so well. Is it just a need to know basis and we don't need to know? I've seen so little official stuff from Mc-war 2.0's progress in the... what.. year that it's been in development? All I want is a screenshot or two to know the thing is actually coming along at all
and I know that sounded very accusing, but I'm actually not mad, upset, or even miffed. I just want to know

In my opinion War should be prioritized before MOBA... War brought Brawl to life so it should continue to just do that. However, it's beginning to get bland from lack of updates, (yes, 2.0) and things you mentioned - the long-standing glitches that have yet to be fixed. Remember, the thing that brought this server life may also end that life as well - so they should keep it maintained and prioritized.

 

The voice of the customer and revenue should decide where resources (coders) are utilized.

Give the customers what they want.

Hate to break it to Myortvye and the rest of the staff, but we don't want Moba that much.

 

EDIT: Just saw this. Changed my opinion. If MC-War doesn't get this promised update in May...

 

I can't believe people still believe in the mythical War 2.0. They have been "working on it" since mid-2013. Check your dates, it's 2015. The only glimpse of War 2.0 that I've seen was the test server we had that was out when War 2.0 was supposed to be released, but that wasn't even remotely complete and it was very buggy.

If I was in charge, I would be having War updated right now. Honestly, why shouldn't it be updated? Is it because it would be better to add more servers? Is it just me, or is Brawl taking the quantity over quality path here?

Just kidding... I completley get where you're coming from here, and feel exactly the same way. See a lot of these threads, hopefully change is soon! Thank goodness there are other video games for us to play in the meantime.

 

Yeah I definitely agree with this. I had to play actual cod and skyrim/oblivion (I even maxed out both accounts on both games in this meantime waiting for 2.0) and its still not out!! I'm just playing war while eating Cheetos, drinking Mountain Dew, and weeping until #soon becomes #now.

 

So according to Myort, if he fails coding McMOBA, War 2.0 is done for...

I already made a massive thread about the flaws with mc-war, and I will for 100% agree with this.

Luckily now that people finaly have stated that they have enough of the 'soon' that we get shoved in our faces, we are finally getting info about the update!

Better be worth the wait :V
