If players could build

I think all of the survivors will build themselves. A gigantic bunker.

 

In infect, you could just block yourself up like 5 or 6 blocks in the middle of the map, and use glass, therefore zombies can't c4 you and you're able to get tons of kills.

 

I would build a nuke and kill everyone...it's the only way to be sure.

I played on a server before this one that had vanilla PVP, but it was in an arena with two teams of one hundred players and both sides had kits containing stacks of stone, wood, and other building supplies. It was amazing.
I figured that if players could build, thats what mc-war would look like. Expect bullets instead of arrow hail

 

I would start building inapropriate things.

I'd try to make a hole where the enemy spawn is >;3
I'd take a flamethrower as well to burn them all.

Everyone, and I mean everyone would make a big old pole and stand on top of it...

 

Actually, on second thought, I'd make a tiny shack with a hole leading down to a lava pit. I'd be down there and kill them all.
