How Has MC-War changed?

Plus, many old players (Anyone remember joeymast99, Golden_Robot, CaptainOHara?) left...or banned

Darn, I remember when the maps were full of an elite few that were +100, and really op people could get nukes like nothing else. Nowadays, a flurry of +30s and +60s and +100s (@Fjeke, @Striker_Sly, etc.) dominate everybody else, and people who begin playing are left in the dust...mostly by how op everybody is with their isos and skullys and whatnot.

At least that's what I think...

Joey never tricked me or something like that xD. I still got hem on skype and he actually helped me when my acc got hacked, (He gave me a spare one). So I can't and won't talk bad about hem^^

 

He used crossbow on half the games he played, and he was and still is doing malicious activity (starts with a D). But still back then a lot of people thought crossbow was cool (including me for a little bit).

I've actually been around for quite a while. It just takes someone like me to get 100+ before im noticed by everyone. There have been videos of me from April 2013 as a 30+ in old FLUX *shudders* I dont think anyone knew me to be honest. I was a shadow as what you mentioned most new players are - put in the dust.

On topic, I've been on brawl through numerous changes and I must say what changed the most was the home-feeling community. I used to log on a couple years ago and if I pulled a nuke the chat just blew up with "gg!!" Or "Nice!" Now nobody can be bothered. That's why I cannot wait for the new nuke kill streak because it will be as hard as it used to - and it will feel like an accomplishment as that chat blows up. I also remember when mafia was at the top of the leader boards and how he was nice enough to let me in BOTH FLUX clans while I was under requirements. He is truly a nice guy and I wish he played more. That's what I remember of the old community. For now, there is lots of rage, lag, same maps, same gun spam, etc. I really want to go back to the old community. However, I believe there is one change that can bring this community (and yes the old players back) together once again. Im not sure what it is, but I know it will come #soon

 

Most of the time, I've found that only unorthodox players get noticed in mc-war. I was given early attention in a little pocket of war (server ten) for a while because I used the weakest weapons all the time, doing well with them when I did. However, I'm not sure if anyone who is around the mc-war forums still remembers my *shudder* first post, but I was beyond cocky. No one knew who I was besides nineninenine (or F13rs1ar at the time) and I got totally shredded by the amazing players like mafiaferret, mokolee, and even joeymast99. It took me up to about a month ago to fully repair my credibility as a 'good' player because of my stupidity. You should count yourself lucky sly, that you had a quiet rise to power rather than get dropped into the crucible of the community at your throat. I may not be level 100+ (because of my decreasing activity, I'm trying the other servers), but I am still very much a force to be reckoned with

They've also set other due dates before and never met them.

The community changed the most.
The guns changed a lot especially barret and Law.
You can't really list anything, everything pretty much has changed.

I've also realised that a lot of people are talking about Joeymast99. The thread is asking you how has MC-War changed, do you see the name Joeymast99 in that question? Nope, so is there even any need to talk about him? He didn't change the server did he, the community is pretty much still the same just a tad bit worse to be honest (that's my opinion). Majority of the players are ruder than they used to be. So if you think the community has changed, fine say so, but there's no need to keep bringing up Joey.

Well, personally (as an old player) I liked War way better back then. Back then, there was no "call of duty server," War was a new and unique server with great potential. The old maps were great, along with the old weapons. I still think the old Barrett and LAW are much better than the new ones nowadays, not because of stats, but because of how it impacted the game. As many people said in this thread, the community changed, a lot.. but there's nothing you can really do about that.

And @Marcey, I thought you would be more mature towards this topic, seeing as how you're one of the oldest War players still here.

 

Sorry but I just can't stand it if the staff that Is supposed to do something does not really care about anyone. (not even about their mods).

 

I remember HACK in its golden days, over 600 people and dominated server 5, anyone whether they in TDA, LTE, or FLUX would get absolutely destroyed on 5, no matter how good they were. and the community was very nice (compared to the current community), everyone said hi and there was almost always a nice discussion going on. The maps are pretty nice. now the servers are laggy, full of pristieg players, and a very dark community indeed. It is quite saddening to see what this wonderful place is becoming

 

I wonder if resetting everyone's stats to 0 could fix the community.

No more calling people randies, or making fun of them cause they aren't an "old player."

The ragers, tryhards, noob callers, pretty much everyone that is making the community worse and worse.

 

I was talking about within the past six months.

 

I think we can all agree that the community has gone bad. For now, I'm just going to keep on playing, but tbh, if any other game interests me, I'm going to play that instead.

I'll be content when I get into INC and (possibly) achieve 25 nukes and maybe even 100k kills.

That was too long ago for me to remember... @_@
