already been posted lots of times, not all people have the texture pack so they would just have a pumpkin. lock?

 

Suggestion 2 is already being added.

Honestly, who doesn't have the pack? I've said this before, but... If you can play McWar, you have internet, a computer, and Minecraft. Therefore, anyone who plays McWar can download the texturepack. Why would anyone want to play without it anyways? It looks ridiculous.

 

It does, but that shouldn't mean that the players are forced to have the texture, if for some reason they can't install it. My point is the fact that war shouldn't give the players with some computer limitations a blinding disadvantage.

 

I really can't think of any reason why if couldn't be installed. I mean, they installed Minecraft. I'd say a very very very small number of people actually have issues installing it, and they would be temporary issues. Again, they did install Minecraft, which is much bigger than a texture pack.

 

Some people may not know how or may not have enough space or the fear of getting a virus, and yes, I have had a friend with this problem.

 

The texture pack really isn't that big, there's always stuff on your computer that you don't need, you wouldn't have to delete much. And if someone is afraid of a virus, I can tell them that I didn't get one. And again, the number of people we're talking about is like 0.1% or less of the McWar population.

 

Just because you don't have a problem doesn't mean that others are in the same boat, or that the 0.1% doesn't matter. It isn't being added, I would love to have it personally, but if it makes it unplayable for others why take away the game?

 

It's probably more like 0.0% actually, until I can think of a single problem that can't be fixed easily.

 

This idea would most likely be bad for nonresource pack owners. Even if they did implement this someone could take the time to create some other texture to mask the pumpkin hud if they do not have the mc-war resource pack (Yes time consuming, very little people would do it, but it is still possible.).
The viruses in the resource pack is a possibility and should not be discredited.

 

Some people don't know how to instal a texture pack or don't want to.
