How would you build a clan?

    Every clan goes through it's beginning, growth phase, sustainment, and some even die phase. Many different clans have come and gone over the years.

    If you were going to give advice to a new clan owner what would it be?

    There are many great clans for everyone and I think it would help if new clan leaders understood just how challenging it is to grow a clan from scratch.

    If you want to make your clan grow you have to be active and not to low level and either very skilled or friendly and dont rage.

    The reqs depends on what kind pf clan you want, elite, big or just a normal good but not elite and not too small but still not the clan that invited lvl 30- players.
    To have a elite clan you (ofc) need to be as good as the members you accept, if youre the worst player in your own clan(not in level, in kdr and skills) the members just dont want to join.
    And a big clan you can either have like level 30+or do like this:
    And last of all,a "normal" clan. You dont want to make it as a elite clan but the reqs need to be good enough to get some high lvl players in it just to make it grow and make people want to join their friends or if the player got fans that is good. So the reqs might be something like my clan(not saying that its good) from 40-60+ and a kdr minimum if you want to make it a little bit more of elite.

    How PR0 was made:
    Before the clan reset I was in a clan, whatever @ErebosGiant's clan name was. I told Erebos that I would make a clan when the clans would het reset and thats when I created PRO. A huge amount of people joined and the clan went over FLUX in 2days+a clan war win [PRO vs FLUX]. Then we hit 100members. A few months ago poske and Erebos joined the clan, then a few weeks and I gave Erebos my clan. He renamed it to TDM [The Dark Army]. It lasted about a month because members of it wanted me to redo PRO. So did I but left it again... I made it once again but as the name PRO was already taken I made it PR0. Aaaaaand... ...thats it!


    Still waiting that the name PRO gets free ._.

    Be active, friendly and you need to communicate with the clan's members. Nobody likes a leader who doesn't act like one.

    I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing.
    I don't plan on expanding, simply wearing the EST badge to remember my past.
    However I did make a clan guide that you can dig up...here https://www.brawl.com/threads/10379/
    it's old, so some things might be wrong. But yes, that's how the EST operated in it's golden age

    Get super op ex. @Striker_Sly . Make a clan. Advertise clan. Get quality players.

    Or... Make clan. Advertise to low lvls or even people who just joined the server. Become the owner of a clan with a crap ton of people who either play horribly/adequately/op.

    I love how most of the advice has to do with pro players, skill and fame, and old names.

    Then there's me with Wolf. xD

    Me, just a semi-known random user, made a clan after my name one day, and BAM. =P
    Pretty much set requirements, not too high or low (Wolf for example is 20+), but try and reap in as many people as possible early on. Then become a bit more strict with the rules.
    Invite your friends. Be you. Make it a large private clan. Don't be scared to kick people. Other clans can pressure you to be more pro, calling you nooby, but ignore them, because it's your clan and you can do whatever you want with it and let whoever you want in it. Don't be afraid to deny an invite to a well-known person. Again, be you, do whatever you think will make your clan fun, don't be pressured to make it mainstream. I'm kind of reiterating here but I just want to get this main point across: It's your clan, screw all those other clans, your clan is your clan and sculp it the way you want it. Have fun with it.
