Anyone else here work around making these? Well I do. Ask me anything about this. There's a lot of things that go into making these than you think.

Examples of what beautiful colors it can produce if you use it properly:

    Example of some questions:
'How do I get a certain colorant?'
'What other things do you do?'
    'What is this mainly about?'

Depends on how large you make the bottle shape.

Let's say hypothetically I wanted to get drunk enough to pass out. How big should I make the the bottle shape?

Lets say you make a bottle shape of around 5 inches tall, 3 inches in width? (You would need to make a really damn strong wall for these to work). Not really good at math (or doing scaling in general), but you've already made said bottle, fire in lower fire kiln, place glaze into said bottle (make sure all of it is glazed! There can't be any clay showing, otherwise liquid can soak into the bottle and germs will be there).
Afterwards, open a bear can and pour.
But I'm terrible at the scaling and math so this is most likely is incorrect.
Although it's possible to make the bottle (or cup) bigger by making the walls bigger and less thinner to hold up the weight. (Can't be more then a inch wide, can crack in kiln).

These look really beautiful and I can tell they are pretty hard to make (not like I can even come near it XD)
So my question is: are those the ones you made? If not, mind sharing some?

In my experience, only a few (from students work). But that was mostly in the beginning where any mistake could really happen.
Yup, not really a pure gold but a colorant close enough to gold.
The ones in the pictures are not ones I've made, I've only made a few and which they aren't the best (I'm terrible at making ceramics). However, I have a very large knowledge on Ceramic Glazes (in powdered form), I can tell you how these glazes are made and what not :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm actually not really sure, those are glazes I pulled from the internet so I don't really know off the top of my head.
I can talk about the glazes we (me and my teacher) use if you want.

Sure! What if you wanted to make a dark green one? What would you use?

I would look for the darkest colorant we have, if it's not available, I'll look up some recipes for it. And these can vary in many ways from using too much will result in differences, using little can result in differences. But that's when it's in liquid form. If I screw up the recipes, then it'll come out different but trust me. There's a lot of recipes for making dark green but I don't remember most of them. (Horrible memory :c)
My favorite ceramic glaze color would have to be Blue, a type of blue which is made from Cobalt Oxide and Chun Glaze (Note: Cobalt is a EXTREMELY powerful colorant, using too much will cause it to go very dark).

Yes, I'll get drunk by drinking ceramic glazes. Why not add some Barium in it (and yes, we did use Barium before but it got taken out).
