New Grave-digging protocol

    Well, this idea just came to me. I do believe we need to make reforms to our Grave-digging policy. Currently, after confirmation with Raven, the grave-digging protocol is to immediately lock the thread. I appose this. I feel the protocol should be updated. I believe that the protocol should be to immediately delete the posts that ensue a gravedig, and have a staff member private message the user on what they did wrong. The messaging staff member should tell the select player to request permission from a higher-up staff member to get permission to restore the thread.
    I don't know, I just jolted down a few ideas. Let me know what you think!

    Until we delete the post, many users who replied to the thread when it was posted propably saw the alert already. We lock the threads if the comment is pointless/unnecessary to prevent those users replying as well. We will also warn the member doing the gravedig, which does already send them a PM explaining them what they did wrong.

    Doesn't XenForo give the ability to delete messages from a certain date on a particular thread ?
    Meaning you can for example delete the posts on the thread of the last week.
