Minigame idea: Jump

    Well, the goal of the minigame is to get from the bottom of the map to the top. There will be a double-jump rocket that will have the same jump range like it smash. The first one to get to the top wins. There will be a timer of 2 minutes, and whoever is the highest (if no one gets to the top) wins. Although this seems boring. So there will be checkpoints and mobs/traps trying to get you back down. Skeletons with punch 1 bows will try to shoot you down. Blocks made out of Granite means that the block will fall if you step on it, and will regenerate in 5 seconds. Witches will try to hit you with slowness potions to mess up your aiming and accuracy of jumping. Zombie Pigmen will have swords with knockback 2. If you get hit by a Ghast, you will go flying in a random direction (maximum of 6 blocks). And last but not least: power ups. Power ups are marked by a beacon light. High jump (rabbit foot) will make you jump 2x as higher for 10 seconds. Triple jump (blaze rod) will let you have up to 3 jumps for 10 seconds. Knockback sword (diamond) will allow you to hit 1 person once with knockback 4.

    Would this be a separate server in itself, or be a minigame for one of the existing servers?

    I think this would be cool as a minigame for MinecraftParty. It would have to be a tad more simplified, but I just don't see it being a dedicated server minigame unless there was some progress or achievements to the game. It reminds me of Doodle Jump.

    That could actually be a unique McParty minigame.

    So is this just a replacement for the current parkours or is it a completely new game mode itself? If it is a completely new game mode I don't think it will be very popular however if it is a mini-game then it would work really well. Sounds like a new twist to parkour and a fresh idea to Brawl! :smile: great idea

    This looks good as a party mini game, but a new server all together is pushing it. It would need some way to progress.
