So I want to start arranging and orchestrating digital music, because for some reason, knowing how to play the ocarina isn't enough for your music grades. I need some beginner software for under $50 that can be used to make simple short tracks.
    Any ideas?

Audacity is available for free. You can do pretty much everything as if it were a 50$ software.

    Thanks, I'll try it.

Wait, can this software make music, or only remix it?

I'm not sure. You'll have to check their website. I haven't made or remixed music using it. I myself use Logic Pro X and Ableton Live 9, but they are expensive, if you try to get them legally (I have pirated versions :v)

Well, it seems like it doesn't have any sound library or something... how much does Logic Pro X/Ableton Live 9 cost?

Ableton Live 9 is around 1000$ while Logic Pro X is 200$.
