Well, as my laptop started making an odd noise, and I don't know why, I think I need a new computer :V
So, I decided to go on PcPartsPicker to make my own custom set up. Currently, I am quite stuck. On my Parts List, I want a 6-core Intel i7-5820K CPU. With this, the Part Picker said that no mother boards were compatible with the Intel Core. Could someone help me find a decent CPU and Mother Board. I'll give some of the only things I will use it for:

Recording and Editing (So I need a Firewire Port) V:
    Minecraft
    Steam and Games
    Livestreaming (OBS)
    Teamspeak 3
    Skype

That is basically the majority of reasons I will be online my computer. Sooo... any recommendations? :v
I would like some expertise from Putty, Brittan, or someone smart like that c:

Did you set the socket as lga 2011 or 2011-3? Because the 5820 is lga 2011-3. If you set it as lga 2011 it will show none, but if you put it as 2011-3 it will show all of the x99 motherboards. Also, you do not need a firewire port as you can just get a firewire to usb adapter. I personally recommend an x-99 deluxe from asus if you are willing to pay 350 for the motherboard. If you want something a bit cheaper, I have heard great things about the asrock fatal1ty x99x killer. Final note, get an ssd! Any computer worth $1000 dollars or more needs an ssd! What one doesn't matter much, just a 120-256 gb one from a reliable brand like samsung, adata, or crucial. Just don't get the kingston ssdnow v300, the review copies are a lot faster than retail ones

Why the hell do you need the newest high-end (lowest of the high-end) CPU
I'm using the i7-4930K in a virtualization server, and even then I barely hit 50% utilization

    That is
underkill now. There is no way the i5 4460 can handle what he wants. It is basically just an i3

I have a custom tower and a MSI Dragon Edition laptop. You'd be fine with a MSI gaming laptop. I got a great deal buying a 2 year old one on Craigslist.
