This thread is going to cover my 2 cents on the server, along with a number of suggestions to make the server better. Remain open-minded, because this is a WIP.
    @Striker_Sly

As a person who has seen the anime series, I can say that I have at least a degree of knowledge about the series and the Aincrad Ark.
So. Just in case you have never heard about it.
SAO is a set of light novels, on which an anime is based on. It's a romance story set during the events of Sword Art Online, a VRMMO where all of the players have no choice but to progress through 100 floors, or die trying. Otherwise, they are going to die not only in the game, but also in the real life.

Well, besides this stuff, let's start it off. I'm gonna start with skills first, and I'll update it with everything else.

    1. Experience.
The game should have a simplistic way of progression - you would receive 1 skill point per level you reach, and the higher the level, the better. You would gain Experience points in the following ways:
    a) by killing NPC enemies
    b) by completing quests
    c) by progressing through stages

Once you have enough exp, you would be able to reach the next level. Along with that, you would be able to upgrade certain skills. All skills are unlocked from the very beginning, however, they are rather expensive to max out.
    1. Combat skills.
These are skills used in combat against players or hostile NPCs.
Gonna list a few of my ideas. You can only equip one skill at a time using your inventory menu by doing /inv.
    -Assassin-
    Level 1 price: 2 SP
    +25% Melee damage from behind.
    Level 2 price: 4 SP
    +50% Melee damage from behind.
    Level 3 price: 6 SP
    +75% Melee damage from behind.
    Maxed out title: "Master Assassin"

    -Thief-
    Level 1 price: 1 SP
On kill: restores to full health.
    Level 2 price: 3 SP
+On hit: 0.5 hearts added to your health bar. Can not overheal.
    Level 3 price: 7 SP
+On hit: 15 armor durability units retracted from enemy's armor and added to your armor.
Maxed out title: "Lord of Thiefs"

    -Hunter-
    Level 1 price: 2 SP
Reduces incoming DMG from ranged sources by 15%
    Level 2 price: 5 SP
Reduces incoming DMG from ranged sources by 20%
    Maxed out title: "The Hunter"

    -Healer-
    Level 1 price: 1 SP
On kill: All nearby allies receive regeneration I for 10 seconds. Radius = 5 blocks. Doesn't stack.
    Level 2 price: 3 SP
+On kill: All nearby allies receive resistance 1 for 3 seconds. Radius = 4 blocks. Doesn't stack.
    Level 3 price: 5 SP
+Generates an absorption field with a radius of 6 blocks, where all of the friendly players/party members receive resistance 2.
    Maxed out title: "Berzerk Healer"

    2. Civil skills.
These skills are used for working and creating certain items and doing stuff.

    -Cooking-
    Level 1 price: 1 SP
All of the food have the maximum saturation.
    Level 2 price: 2 SP
Allows to summon bread using /summon command. 4 minute cooldown.
    Level 3 price: 3 SP
Allows to summon an instant soup (1 unit at a time) every 1.5 minutes.

    -Tailor-
    Level 1 price: 1 SP
Allows to repair armor by left-clicking it. Each time gives 200 durability. 10 minute cool down.
    Level 2 price: 3 SP
+On kill: restores 3 durability units on all armor.
    Level 3 price: 10 SP
    +All armor receives 1000 durability.

    -Blacksmith-
    Level 1 price: 2 SP
Adds /repair command, which repairs 20 durability units at a time, with a cool down of 6 minutes.
    Level 2 price: 4 SP
Allows to craft a random T1 weapon for 1000 coins.
    Level 3 price: 6 SP
Gives the permission to craft a random T2 weapon for 5000 coins.

    3. Special skills.
These are certain special abilities used for certain goals.

    -Regeneration-
    Price: 10 skill points.
Regeneration I effect for a permanent amount of time.

    -Stealth-
    Price: 6 SP
Receive invisibility I while crouching. Ignored by mobs if within 3 block radius. Attacking will instantly reveal you.

    -Cure-
    Price: 4 SP
All negative potion effects are negated and do not affect you.

    -Battle rush-
    Price: 6 SP
Provides Haste I effect and Speed I for 7 seconds after hitting an enemy. 10 second cool down.

    -Guardian-
    Price: 30 SP
Allows to respawn in your death location w/o a penalty. 40 minute cool down.

    4. Sword Skills.
This is a single type of a skill focused around your Melee weapon. You already have this skill as default.

    Default skill - Sword Strike.
Activated by holding right-click for 20 seconds 3 times with a delay between the times. Once triggered, provides strenth II effect for 8 seconds.

    Fire Strike - 6 SP.
Triggered by hitting your enemy 3 times in a row without a miss. Sets the enemy on fire for 4 seconds.

    Venom Strike - 5 SP.
Obtained by sneaking and holding right click for 10 seconds. Triggered by hitting an enemy. Possible to do for 3 minutes. Enemy receives poison I for 9 seconds per every hit. Stacks.

    Critical Strike - 3 SP
Every third attack does +25% damage.

    2. Party System.
The party system allows for you to create a party consisting of up to 5-10 players, not depending on their guild, level and other stats.
Firstly, a person can create a party using /party create.
Secondly, the person who created it is a party leader, the only person capable of kicking, banning and inviting people to the party.
    Party leader commands.
    /party setleader <user name> - sets a another party leader.
/party disband - disbands your party
/party invite - invites a person to your party
/party kick - kicks a person from the party
    /party ban <user name> - prevents a person from joining the party
/party unban <username> -unbans a banned person from the party
/party join <username> - allows for you to join the party your were invited to.
/party leave - you leave the party

    3. Weapons.
The weapons would be divided by tiers.
The higher the weapon Tier, the better it is.

We should supply players with completely innocuous headsets designed to make the game more "immersive"

I really hope Myort and the coders look at this instead of skipping these threads like usual.

Thank you all for the feedback. As of right now, I will begin doing some stuff with NPCs and quests, but it will take a while to finish up. I really appreciate the support as writing this type of stuff and doing this research as very difficult. Especially, if you want to feature stuff from the anime.

Changelog 1: Added T1-T4 weapons along with special weapons. I will have to add quest and drop/loot weapons later, along with axes.

And NineNineNine, in the worst-case scenario, I will message devs.

SAO is an upcoming Brawl server :v
It was in the thread for Future of McBrawl.

Bumping the thread due to lack of feedback.
Update: I'm going to update the skill trees, adding up to 10 skills per a skill type. I'll also make a draft for achievements.

Announcement: I'm going to continue this thread, expect a few edits soon, along with balancing changes. It will take quite a while to write, but once done, it will be worth reading.
