YouTuber?!

No, the 50k subrcriber minimum is there for a reason. We don't want to give a YouTuber rank out to every other person just because they happen to have a YouTube channel with a few subs. With the YouTuber rank, we are essentially giving out free donator items and ranks worth loads of money. Why do we do that? Because we want the YouTuber to be able to show of our server in a better way to his fans, which results in us gaining new players. However, if only a few people see the videos, we won't gain any significant amount of players. Altough we are a network of a reasonable size, we can't afford to give out many YouTuber ranks unless make a big profit in return. And thats why we have a requirement of minimum 50k subscribers.

 

Oh, I didn't realise that since you didn't say that anywhere. If you only want staff to answer your questions, post your question here. I'm not blaming you or anything. You are new, so you couldn't know.

 

I believe the cutoff for the rank is 100k subscribers or 50k views per video, unless the requirements have changed in the past few days and I'm unaware of it.

I feel like it'd be extremely hard to get a 100k sub channel uploading brawl as there aren't even 100k active players.

 

Well the whole point of the youtuber rank is to give them content to show off to people not currently playing the server so it would kind of be counterintuitive for people to only have brawl subscribers

IMO its more of a incentive for youtubers from outside of brawl to promote our server

 

True, however it would be cool for popular youtubers within the community to be recognized somehow

 

There is a "featured video" on the main forum page and also video of the weeks that kind of do that, but not for specifically "popular" youtubers within the community.

SkyDoesMinecraft plays brawl occasionally. Anyways, that's not the point. As I explained above, the youtuber rank isn't for the brawl youtubers with a few subs, it is just there incase a big youtuber wants to try our server and showcase it. The extra items they get with the rank helps then showcase the server, which results in a lot of his viewers joining our network.

 

How will the other youtuber with 45-60k subs make spectating HG videos? The man himself, rinoranchero, had a series called "The Last Man Standing" where he'd spectate players and record them fighting in HG till one came out alive.

 

He's got a substantial anmount of subs, so he may be granted with the rank. Don't quote me on this though, as I am unsure about the exact number of required subs.
