Hacker Detection System

    So in survival games and stuff the hacker detection system is really annoying coz when you get hit, somehow you get teleported to that person. This can cause a lot of people to die in HG coz there is a strategy to take extra knockback to refill. Also, when running, you might suddenly teleport back a few blocks. Can this be removed on HG? Whoever the owner is can ask hclewk what his hacker detection system was, that's pretty good for HG

    I've been told Brawl will be using kNoHax2, McPvP's version of an "anti-cheat", with McPvP servers. If an Smod or an Admin could confirm that, that'd be gr8

    If it isn't confirmed, then it's not going to happen. Brawl is staying with NoCheat+.

    But MCPVP players hate dying from lag/server issues, and I'm sure everyone else does too. They need to change the hacker detection system or lots of people will leave HG

    Even if its confirmed to not happen, it isn't set in stone. If enough people wanted to get rid of NoCheat+ and replace it with kNoHax2, and Brawl had kNoHax2, then it'll probably happen - if they listen to the community, at least.

    I do believe, I also many be incorrect, that they are discussing if they will be using our current no-cheat plugin, or kNoHax2
    In my opinion, kNoHax2 sounds a lot better, and lots of people are not happy with the current system, so I do believe that they will change it

    Word is around the street is that CTF and HG will be using kNoHax2, which is a lot better than the current anti-cheat.

    I really hope that they end up using kNoHax2 because in my opinion and I'm pretty sure a lot of other peoples' opinion, it makes game play much better than NoCheat.

    Putty said they will be using knohax on HG and CTF, and I'm pretty sure I saw a post stating it'll be on all PvP servers but I can't find it.

    First off all, Hi Matt!

    Second if they want HG players to stay and tell new players how to play, then keep then kNowHax2, i promis you you're better of keeping it.

    I remember seeing somewhere that all the pvp based servers were going to switch to mcpvp anti cheat.

    The lag/problems you are talking about are all caused by NoCheatPlus. We will use MCPVP's anti-hacker plugin, KnoHax, on all MCPVP servers, so this will not be a problem.
